October is when we start to get all kinds of fun requests for creative grooms and pops of color — and honestly? It’s one of our favorite things to do!
✨ A few fun facts about pet-safe color:
We use — a professional line made exclusively for pets. Their ingredients are listed right on their website for the conscious pet parent & their products are vegetable-based pigments- 100% pet-safe! 🌱
We carry:
💖 Semi-permanent dyes (last about 6–8 washes)
🖤 Permanent options that fade naturally
👻 Chalk pens that wash right out — perfect for color-shy pups!
How it works:
When scheduling your groom, just let us know you’d like to add color! We’ll do a quick consult — simple ear or tail color can usually be added same-day, while more advanced or full-body designs will require a little extra time.
Most color add-ons take about 10–15 extra minutes for processing, and we’ll always let you know if your pup is a good candidate for creative color (because their comfort always comes first 🐾).

If you have a curly coated breed (or any long haired breed in general), you’ve probably heard us mention “line brushing”. Here’s a great example! We are happy to give in person demonstrations, product & tool recommendations as we head into the cooler months and pet owners want to keep their pet’s fluffier 🙏🏻 Just remember, at least 30 minutes every 3-5 days, set up a basket near the couch so it’s easily accessible while you’re watching TV. Have your pet lay down and focus on the legs, head and tail first 🛁 ✂️ 🐾
