As our final days approach, we want to thank everyone for your patience, kindness, and support during this transition.

If you have requested your pet's medical records, they have been emailed. Please be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you do not see them in your inbox.

If you still need your records emailed, please call our office or reply with your first and last name, your pet's name, and the phone number associated with your account so we can process your request.

We kindly ask that, whenever possible, your records be sent digitally to your new veterinary clinic. This helps ensure a smooth transition in your pet's care.
If you would prefer a printed copy of your pet's records, please CALL or EMAIL us, and we will arrange a pickup time for next week.

Again, thank you for your understanding, support, and the trust you have placed in Ironwood Veterinary Clinic over the years. It has truly been our privilege to care for your beloved pets.

Hello Clients,

Thank you all for your kind words and continued support during this difficult time. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

We have processed the majority of medical record requests sent through email. If you have checked your inbox and spam/junk folder and have not received your pet’s medical records, please contact us by phone or email so we can assist you.

If you prefer a printed copy of your pet’s records, please call ahead to schedule a pickup time so we can have them prepared for you.

Email: [email protected]

Thank you again for your support and for allowing us to care for your pets.

Dear Clients,

Yesterday, an email was sent notifying you that our hospital will permanently close on July 30.

If you need a copy of your pet’s medical records, please allow up to 48 hours for processing during our normal business hours. We kindly ask that you submit your request by email to [email protected]. We promise that your records will be provided.

We also ask for your patience and understanding during this transition. At this time, we are continuing to care for scheduled patients while also processing medical record requests. There are only three of us—Sahreena (our Client Service Representative), Dr. Hartman, and myself—managing patient care, phone calls, and record requests. Because of this, handling walk-in record requests in person can be difficult while we are caring for our patients.

This has not been an easy transition for our team, and we sincerely appreciate your patience, kindness, and understanding during this time.

Thank you for allowing us to care for your beloved pets.

Warmly,
Victoria Ruiz, Hospital Manager

A pet’s palette is not as discerning as you would hope. What’s the weirdest thing your pet has tried to eat? 😳

And if they succeed…give us a call so we can help!

Psst…tell your cat to get ready cause it’s National Hug Your Cat Day! So now they HAVE to let you give them a snuggle. 😻...

As flowers bloom, so do risks for our pets, with plenty of opportunity for them to breathe in particles, scratch an eye, poke a paw, or even get snagged by a branch or thorn, all of which could potentially lead to infections.

Infections can be sneaky subtle—If your pet is not acting right and you are not sure what it is, get them checked! Like with most conditions, the sooner we treat an infection, the better your pet will feel.

🍔 A burger… made their way 🐾
Today is National Hamburger Day, but your pet doesn’t need the drive-thru version to feel included.

In fact, many classic burger ingredients—like onions, garlic, and heavy seasoning—can upset their stomach (or worse). The good news? You can still treat them—just a little differently. Think:
🥩 Plain, lean protein
🥕 Pet-safe veggies
🚫 No added salt, spices, or toppings

Because the best treats aren’t the ones we share…they’re the ones we choose with them in mind. ❤️
If you’re ever unsure what’s safe, we’re always here to help!

We thank you for your understanding.
