Mutt Love Pet Rescue & Sanctuary After many years as a partner in a Los Angeles / Orange County based non profit rescue, I moved to the desert to help with family issues.

When the decision was made to stay....Muttlove was birthed. Taking with me from my rescue partnership the hard to place dogs , senior dogs and special needs dogs. In addition the the sanctuary dogs Muttlove pulls death row dogs from high kill shelters and works to place them in a forever home. We are a private rescue and rely on donations and the wonderful fosters that make saving a life possible.

KC and Theodore are here and safe.....Theo is very sweet but appears to be older than thought and frail....and KC....lol....seems to be younger....full of s***k and dominance.....ha ha...so, they are both decompressing and getting used to their new environment....but they are safe.....

Muttlove found out today that the daughter of the owners of KC and Theodore....had a scheduled appt to euthanize these babies...so on Thurs....we are taking these two babies into our rescue.....so......if you are interested in doing "A GLORIOUS THING" ...and adopting senior souls....please contact us.....

These two sweet bonded senior dogs need a new home asap....one of their owners died and the other is currently in the hospital and will be going into a home.....they are both over 10 yrs old...both males.....very sweet and social....and both still very active.....PLEASE help network and consider adopting KC & Theodore.......

We are still getting reports that many people have not heard about Brady's disappearance. Please continue to share the word everywhere. He could be anywhere if he is still alive.

We are still offering a $2,000 reward for anyone who finds Brady or can lead us to him or for anyone who finds his remains or can lead us to them.

The anonymous tip line is automated. All calls are screened to determine the credibility of a tip. Credible tips are sent to volunteers.

You may call this number anonymously and leave a message. If you wish to not provide your contact information for privacy please leave a detailed tip and document the time and date of your tip and please give yourself an alias name. If your tip leads us to Brady, we will report the alias you provide yourself on our page. You will authenticate you provide the tip by indicated the day and time you left the tip to obtain the reward money.

We also accept calls if you wish to speak to a volunteer. Your privacy will be upheld and never disclosed to anyone. We are only concerned about finding Brady, not determining how you obtained your information. You may absolutely still receive the tip if it pans out.

You may also TEXT the tip line. Again, we are not concerned about what you are or how you've obtained your information. We only want to find Brady and your name will never be disclosed to anyone except the volunteer to who you work with on your tip.

An adoption of a pit bull to Alaska has ended in tragedy when he disappeared only the day after he was adopted. He mysteriously disappeared while with a family member after he had threatened to shoot the dog. This family member has messaged that hunters will fund his remains in the fall. Brady needs...

I am often asked who and what Mutt Love Pet Rescue & Sanctuary is and our history in the area of pet rescue....so....here is my reply.....my first rescue was a border collie....who I had been attacked by dogs...in the city of Inglewood...that was 1986...yikes....I am dating myself.....but it was a foster fail...and I kept Boomer...and my life was forever changed...then I started as a volunteer at the Carson shelter....(CA) .....broken hearted....and totally dis-believing what I saw....i started working with local rescue groups (Peninsula Pet Rescue / Pal Rescue) as a volunteer / foster.....did that for about 6-8 yrs.....then formed a partnership with a foster of mine....and we became a 501c3....non profit....we saved sooooo many lives in LA / OC / and in particular Moreno Valley shelter and SBC.......after about 10 yrs......my partner and I parted.....I retired....and she kept the 501.....and continued to do the weekly Pet adoptions .... I kept the senior / special needs / unadoptables that she and I had saved.... and went a different direction.....I went the direction of a sanctuary for senior , special needs and dogs with temperment issues....Muttlove has dogs up for adoption....and we will post those dogs or send pics and info to potential adopter but the main course of our calling today is to assist in the efforts of other rescues....those rescues who are doing what I did .....so many years ago.....scout the streets of South central Los Angeles and the LA harbor / Alameda corridor for wounded and abandoned strays......stake out empty lots to catch ferral dogs that had no hope of survival....pull from high kill shelters the dogs that were on the kill list........saved hundreds and hundreds of dogs over the years and the committment to this cause is still as strong. Just in a different capacity. We have a wonderful support system of previous adopters and fellow rescue pals..........that we love dearly. ....Blessings from Muttlove Pet Rescue & Sanctuary....stay the course...fight the good fight...evey life is precious and every life deserves the gift of life.......

Photo coming....a very very sweet....beautiful...black lab mix.....found his way to my place.....apparently he has had some physical abuse....he cowers when sticks are raised (broom) or voices....but he is stunning and sooo sweet....he just got his vaccine and still needs to be neutered and microchipped...so, will keep all posted...by the way....against my better judgment....I did post posters...and sent flyers.....contacted the local paper and radio station....but .....(not surprised) no one was looking for this baby....he is young....and big....about 80 lbs....and needs a home....calling him Buddy....pic to come.....

Reports have piled up from owners of dogs as old as 17 years, praising the one, simple solution that brought their old friends back to life. It is now possible to ease painful arthritis and increase mobility in aging dogs.

Everynow and then.....rescue folks need to take a break....the need and the call of the shelter animals and strays....can be overwhelming and heartbreaking.....we say "one life at a time"....and things like "you can't save them all"....and while those words are true......it is so very hard not to at least try..........2015 has been a very tough year for Muttlove....which is my rescue.....so many health issues for myself and my helpers....and then we lost 8 senior / sanctuary dogs....all to natural causes...but the loss is not lessened....here are some pics of the precious seniors who are free and left their mark....

Couple updates.....Little Pom Boy has been adopted...to nurse Lucy....who adopted a wee poodle boy from me last year.......
