Meet the mushroom 🍄

Chestnut mushrooms, Pholiota adiposa, are a cousin of the Nameko mushroom. They have a rich, nutty umami flavor with notes of a peppery finish and they may have a slight crispiness to them once cooked. Chestnuts are an excellent addition to stir-fry, ramen and a variety of other dishes.
