Dawn and I (mostly Dawn) have been organizing the kitchen during the storm :)
It's amazing how something so simple can be so functional! We had our Yeti's and Stanley cups stacked with lids in drawers etc, this cheap little system lets us get it all in one cabinet and saves so much space!
Amazon link's in the comments.

12 YEARS AGO TODAY our first ever Stonewater Labradors litter was born. This is a video clip from our second litter later that year. We are so grateful for our our Stonewater Families, Friends and Followers. Here's to another 12 Years (or more) ;)
Taking care of one new puppy is a lot of work, but a Raleigh family is getting a crash course in dealing with multiples thanks to a record-setting litter. Three weeks ago, Naia, a labrador, gave birth to 16 puppies, more than double the average litter size.

It’s interesting how grief works. A new customer messaged this morning and I was sharing with her the information about our beautiful girl, Franny. Many of you know, Franny was the last puppy sired by our amazing boy, Fifty, before he passed. Of course, we kept Franny as our pick of the litter and now she is about to have her first pups Spring 2026. As I am sharing this information, on a plane about to take off for Vegas, I start looking at pictures of my boy. My heart dog, my once in a lifetime- and here I am in First Class on vacation, crying 😭 like a crazy lady… it is bittersweet and sad and special all at once- if you want more information on Franny- “Fifty’s Heir of Fortune” named Franny after the richest woman in the world and of-course not to mention, her titled mother with NFC, Field Champion, AFC Maxx’s Surprise as her sire, multiple generations of AKC titles.

Stonewater Labradors has multiple litters planned for 2020 with our personal females and there are also several litters sired by Fifty and Tuck. We are accepting reservations for all litters now. We are happy to announce that we are now a AKC Breeder of Merit and an AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. Program member (Health, Education, Accountability, Responsibility and Tradition).
WHY buy a Stonewater Puppy? HEALTH TESTING, TITLES and TEMPERAMENT. Our dogs are our indoor family pets; we are not a kennel and all puppies are raised in our home and well socialized with children and other dogs.
HEALTH TESTED: Stonewater Labradors' foundation breeding stock are at a minimum, OFA certified for Hips, Elbows, Eyes, Hearing (BAER), Dentition, Cardiac and Patellas. Yes, 7 (seven) OFA certifications per dog. All breeding dogs are genetic health tested and ALL CLEAR, NO carriers on genetic disease tests. WHY is this important??? Health tested parents produce healthier puppies! No puppy produced will ever be affected by any of the genetic diseases known to labrador retrievers.
If you are interested in adding a Stonewater Labradors puppy to your family, please FB message or call 919-337-3645 for additional information.
Why is it so important to have non affected puppies? Here is an explanation of some of the hereditary diseases known to labrador retrievers.
Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM) is a recessive disorder and is characterized by weight loss, awkward gait, and exercise intolerance
Cystinuria is a metabolic disorder that causes cystine stones to form in the kidney, ureter, and bladder
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) is a degenerative disease of the spinal cord, characterized by muscle weakness in the hind limbs that eventually leads to paraplegia
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)Clinically-affected dogs often begin to exhibit leg weakness followed by a complete collapse after just 5 to 15 minutes of strenuous activity
Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK) Affected dogs will develop dry, rough crusts on the tip of the nose. In extreme cases, the dog’s nose will crack, causing severe discomfort
Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRCD c.5G>A) causes degeneration of both rod and cone photoreceptor cells of the retina. Affected dogs initially experience night blindness and loss of peripheral vision around 3-5 years of age. As it progresses, complete blindness will occur
Hyperuricosuria, elevated uric acid level in the urine, is inherited as an autosomal recessive disorder and is characterized by the formation of bladder stones and occasional kidney stones.
