Stable Life

We offer riding lessons, boarding, leasing, community events and pony parties! Manager/Instructor Jeanne Miller has 20 years of horse experience and horses have been her passion for as long as she can remember. She began riding lessons at the age of 10 and over the years took lessons in saddleseat,, basic dressage, and hunter/jumper. She became a working student at age 13 and began working in exch

ange for rides. She quickly advanced to riding boarders horses and horses in training and gained a wide variety of riding and training experience throughout her high school years. She also taught hunter/jumper lessons and was a summer camp counselor throughout high school and college summers. During her time at NCSU she was an employee at the NCSU Equine Educational Unit and learned invaluable equine management and handling practices. For the past four years she has been on NCSU Police Department's mounted patrol unit and is also a certified instructor through the Southern Police Institute. Being able to apply mounted patrol training and riding tactics is a unique and useful tool not available in your typical riding program. Through Stable Life our goal is to share our passion for horses and safely provide a foundation in horsemanship and riding that can be carried over into any discipline. Currently Stable Life offers private lessons that are catered to each individuals needs. We provide a safe and relaxed learning environment to help you reach all of your equine goals.
