Taking it easy this morning, starting herb and marigold seeds. We use marigolds a lot as a pest deterrent and to attract beneficials. They add a nice pop of color as well. Hope everyone has a blessed Friday!

They learn that food doesn’t come from a shelf.It comes from time, effort, soil, and teamwork.

Farming isn’t just what we do.It’s what we’re passing on.

Nothing goes to waste on our farm, not even crop residue.

After harvest, the stems, leaves, and roots that once fed our community don’t get thrown away… they get returned to the soil.

We compost our crop residue right here on the farm, transforming yesterday’s plants into tomorrow’s fertility. That compost feeds the next generation of crops by building organic matter, improving soil structure, increasing water retention, and fueling microbial life.

It’s a full-circle system:
Harvest → Residue → Compost → Soil → New Growth

Regenerative farming isn’t just about what we grow. It's about how we restore, rebuild, and revitalize the land we steward.

The farm feeds the soil.
The soil feeds the farm.
And the cycle continues ♻️

Just delivered tumbling tom hanging basket cherry tomatoes to the garden center on Pinhook rd in Lafayette. Perfect for the patio! Pair with some of our emerald towers basil, which performs great in containers. This variety has a compact growth habit and longer growing season than most other varieties.
