Many of you have been following me for a long time, all the way back when I started blogging under the name Love, Laugh, Woof, and Jackson and Tinkerbell were just puppies. Because I took a long hiatus, the last month I've been sharing stories to get us reacquainted and for you to meet Quill.

Of course, losing Tinkerbell to liver disease on July 4 was not remotely on my radar. She was 12, but I honestly thought we were going to come out on the winning side of her copper storage disease.

And so, August was a month of soul-deep storytelling.
