Village Veterinary

Village Veterinary was recently purchased by Drs. Heath and Amanda McNutt, owners of Village Veterinary Clinic in NH. "Our family caring for yours"

Dr. Amanda looks forward to meeting new families here in York, Maine. A full-service Veterinary Hospital providing the finest professional care for companion animals, primarily dogs and cats. Our services include routine vaccines, surgery, dentistry, hematology and acupuncture. We are dedicated to providing your pet with the best care possible in a compassionate manner. We are a family run practice, owned by a husband/wife team, and we thrive to be an intricate part of the community.

Anyone who has walked through our clinic doors knows Dr. Heath’s dedication to our patients and the people who love them. In North of the Collar, he puts that lifelong passion onto the page:

❝ My favorite part of being in the exam room is that, for some reason, when I am standing in this room, nothing else matters. The entire world melts away, and I am here in this moment. Selfishly, it is my favorite place to be.❞

Mark your calendars—we are officially two weeks out from his book launch and signing event!

📅 Tuesday, November 10
🕕 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Bring your questions, pick up your copy, and join us for an evening celebrating veterinary life in our community.

🖤🐾 Happy National Black Cat Day! 🐾🖤

Today we’re celebrating one very special black cat who holds a pretty important position here at Village Veterinary… our very own Kabota! 🐈‍⬛❤️

Kabota may be our resident hospital cat, but he’s also an expert in supervising, keeping everyone company, and accepting plenty of love and attention. 😉 He’s definitely mastered the art of making himself at home around the hospital!

Black cats sometimes get a bad rap, but we think Kabota is proof that they bring nothing but love, personality, and a little bit of mischief wherever they go. 🥰

So today, give a black kitty an extra snuggle, a treat, or maybe even a kiss! 💋🐾

Happy National Black Cat Day from Kabota & all of us at Village Veterinary! 🖤🐈‍⬛

🎃👻 What a SPOOKTACULAR time! 👻🎃

A huge thank you to York Parks & Recreation for putting on an amazing Festival of Frights & Trunk or Treat! 🧡 We had such a great time handing out candy and seeing all the little ghosts, goblins, superheroes, princesses, and everything in between!

Jessie 🤠, Bo Peep 🐑, and the Aliens 👽 from Toy Story were there to greet everyone—and we saw SO many amazing costumes! 🎃🍬

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hi and make the night so much fun. We had an absolute blast! 🐾🧡

Until next time… To infinity and beyond! 🚀👽
