Theo is looking for a new home. He is 4 yrs old, neutered and very loving. Theo is being rehomed by us as a favor, so he still needs his vaccines but has had them before. He doesn’t like dogs or kids but loves other cats. He is very sassy, but not in any rude way - he just likes to swipe at the air around you to get your attention. THEO HAS a waived adoption fee.

(YORK, PA) READY FOR ADOPTION: “Peek-A-Boo”

Is your favorite season “spooky” season? Do you love the idea of feline familiars, the supernatural, Halloween? Are you just in love with all things “weird?” Well then, you just HAVE to meet Boo.

Peek-A-Boo 👻 has a VERY unique personality, and a bit of a long story:

Rescued as a kitten by us, she was one of 4. (The Calico Litter) Her mother was hit by a car but waited a full 24 hours for help with her babies. When rescue finally came, her mom passed peacefully, knowing her kids were coming with us.

Boo was quickly adopted as a baby, but was returned to us about 6 months later with a fever of nearly 105. She was so scared and uncomfortable. She had a bad UTI, and was treated with antibiotics. She fully recovered.

After this, she spent another few months just warming back up to people. She gained her nickname Peek-A-Boo, because she is always laying under cat beds (not on top), blankets, and pillows where it’s warmest and quietest. She discovered she could make me laugh if she would POP out at me when I was looking for her. Overtime, her personality showed and her guard went down.

She is OBSESSED with food (aren’t we all?), string-y toys, and balls that jingle. Her eyes are always wide, giving her a vague alien 👽 vibe. I think she likes being a bit Spooky, and that trait is really hard not to love.

Boo isn’t a cat that will let you hold her 24/7. In fact, she believes she’s much too dignified to be held: you may pet her, and occasionally kiss her, but she would prefer being admired from a respectable distance - unless of course she chooses you. Then you aren’t allowed to stop petting her…ever.

She’s 1 year old, spayed, microchipped, FELV/FIV NEGATIVE, and vaccinated against Rabies and Distemper. She’s also just very tiny - 7-8lbs and healthy!

Peek-A-Boo 👻 is looking for a quiet, cat loving home. She loves other cats as long as they respect her space. She would not do well in a home with a dominant cat. No dogs - so she can really thrive in her new environment.

Don’t let her pickiness fool you - Boo is looking for someone to worship her and love her till the end of time - A Gomez to her Morticia - is that too much to ask?

Ginger was quickly adopted (no surprise there) and her first week in her new home is going so well! She was nervous, but quickly made a new friend nearly her size 😸 I think Ginger and her new sibiling will remember each other forever - look at how they look at each other!

We are so happy Ginger didn’t have to wait long for a new forever home.

ADOPTED!!!

UPDATE 7/12/23: PENDING- Ginger has received an adoption application.

READY FOR ADOPTION: Remember Ginger? Ginger was part of the “Chinese Food Litter” awhile back. She is the first of our returned kitties to look for their new home. She came back through no fault of her own!

Ginger is super playful, cuddly, soft and loving. What a perfect combo! She loves attention, and truthfully, she might still believe she’s a tiny kitten! She is about 1 yr old, vaccinated and spayed. She is felv/fiv NEGATIVE. She is considered a Calico.

She gets along with dogs and cats. She has experience with older children, and would likely be OK with younger kids if they are respectful.

Ginger just needs a new family to let her playful side out.

SOS FOSTER NEEDED: “Boo” is looking for a comfy place to stay while she prepares to find her forever home. She is SO sweet, loves to hide under blankets and cat beds for warmth, and will pop out when you come in the room - hence her nickname “Peek-A-Boo.” She’s grown restless being isolated to a room with us.
❤️ Remember: As a Foster, we pay for everything, all you have to do is provide love and feed/care for them!

Boo is nervous but she’s coming around and has realized how much she LOVES toys! She’s always the most social around meal times, and prefers company and pets while she eats for reassurance.

Boo is 1 year old, not yet spayed, and has the Rabies vaccine but not Distemper yet. Negative f***l, so no parasites. She is in the process of having all this done!

Boo is feeling her normal self again! We still have a lot of warming up to do, but that’s OK. She’s been through a lot of change recently!

We are still collecting donations to cover her bill. Though she’s no longer sick, and it is less urgent, the sooner we can pay off Boo’s bill, the sooner we can help the next kitty.

Boo also still has to be spayed and finish her vaccinations.

We’ve reached $300 in donations between multiple sources. Our goal is $700. We can get there!

Boo has been feeling so much better. Her fever has gone away, thanks to an antibiotic shot that lasts for 2 weeks. We’re not sure where the infection was, but all that matters is she’s getting back to her old self.

We’ve discovered Boo likes to hide under blankets or cat beds - must feel safe and warm under there! We’ve started calling her “Peek-A-Boo.” She’ll pop out when she is ready for attention.

Peek-A-Boo still has a lot of recovering to do. She is very timid at the moment, and prefers a very, very gentle hand.

We are still collecting donations on her GoFundMe due to the cost of her first veterinary bill. Our goal is $700, and we’ve made it 25% of the way there! Help us reach Boo’s goal!

Boo is still in isolation, and she’s doing a great job! We have seen no strange behavior from the loving girl, just lots of purrs and cute & warm hiding spots 🥰 Boo loves making muffins too, she’s a hard worker!

We are still collecting donations to help cover her large sick visit bill, as well as to get her fully vaccinated and spayed so she can find her new home.
