A very Happy Tails Update from Jasper
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙😊😊😊💙💙💙💙💙💙
Jasper was a very frightened little guy when he was at the Yonkers Shelter.
He rarely ( if ever )let anyone get near enough to pet or interact with him except if they wear bearing treats. This little man was always hungry.
We believe he is a Mexican hairless ( xolo)
And then Michele was fortunate enough to meet Brittany a very special lady who can win over any dog. And she did and she adopted Jasper. It was one of the most thrilling adoptions ever
Brittany just sent us this amazing amazing video. Watch his little paw. 😊

Looking for a feline friend this weekend ?
Come to the Yonkers Animal Shelter at 1000 Ridgehill Boulevard between 11 and 4 and you are very likely to find the perfect cat for you. We have many wonderful kitties young and old big and small. Here are just pictures of some from our community cat room.

MEET SNOW! This sweet 3year old girl has been waiting MONTHS with ZERO INTEREST!!! PLEASE GIVE HER A CHANCE!!! Snow is an absolute LOVEBUG who craves cuddles and companionship. She’s FANTASTIC on leash, has a calm, easygoing personality, and would be just as happy going on adventures as she would be curling up with you on the couch. She’s the definition of a chill best friend — loyal, loving, and low-maintenance.

PUPDATE!! Midnight is doing extremely well in his new home. He has the best family ever and a mom who makes him home cooked meals. Midnight's mom says he loves to sunbathe outside by the pool and that he is truly the best boy ever. They are obsessed with him. We love all of you and are so thankful that he went to a wonderful home.

 Venus was a very beautiful dog very popular with the volunteers and staff. She was smart and spicy and lovable all at once.
When she was adopted in 2018, everyone was thrilled and when we learned they were moving to New England where they would have a house with a fenced in yard we were really happy for her
Sadly, Venus recently passed and her owners were devastated.
They estimated her age to be about 11. They expressed their gratitude for all the time they had with her and how much they loved her. Her mom sent us these lovely pictures that show with a happy life. Venus had. Please enjoy them.

Happy Tails update from Patrick,now Draco !!
We all loved Patrick when he was at the shelter. A loveable very young German Shepherd in need of a wonderful home which he now has.
You can see by these pictures from his Mom that he is living his best life and we are just thrilled for him.
Congratulations we will be waiting to see more as time goes on 💙💙
