Thank you so much Gonzalez/Stoops family! This donation is so helpful!! Fly control is a never ending uphill battle. These catchers work great! We have used these for years as they work but unfortunately the reusable part is a bit hard. Any donations of fly traps are greatly appreciated and help our horses and volunteers!

When you sponsor one of our sanctuary horses you get specialized bonding time with that horse. The Gonzalez/Stoops family have been learning a lot about the care of horses and getting to further their handling skills recently.

We love seeing children’s first experiences with horses turn in to full love for these magnificent animals.

Please reach out if you would like to sponsor a horse you get to bond with and learn new skills with.

*Urgent*
Looking to raise $300 for pain meds.
Our vet is coming out in the next few days and we will need to stick up on vet prescribed pain meds to have on hand for horse emergencies and prevention of death related to colic.

There are 7 different types of colic in horses and the most minor of them can be fatal if not caught early and treated.

Colic is essential causes very severe stomach pains and cause horses to roll continuously to try and help the tummy ache. Giving pain meds early to ease their pain can bring the comfort they need to stop rolling.

Rolling can twist a horses gut and this becomes a death sentence for older horses who don’t even qualify for the $10k anc up surgery to save them.

Weather change can make a horse colic. We take as many preventive measures as possible to avoid any type of colicing.

Horse injuries happen and if they are series enough need pain injection or powder pain meds(butte) to ease pain.

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit
Any donation is tax deductible

Please help us stay stocked up

Kristy has become one of our regular sponsors and supporters. She got to come out and meet Buddy today and spoil him with love and treats. Pictured on the right is her horse Gleason from childhood. In her words:

His name was Gleason, he was a childhood wish that came true when I was 13. He really taught me about responsibility, hard work, and how to love unconditionally.

We are truly honored that she has become such a huge help to our organization.

We would like to honor Gleason, a great horse that taught a young girl the love of a horse and the best friend you can ever have. Thank you Gleason for being such a good boy. We are happy to honor your memory!

Four of our sanctuary horses got their hooves trimmed last night by our new wonderful farrier.

Horses know when you are a good person and ours give Logan and Michelle a 10 out of 10. Our shy and scared horses are warming up to them on their first trims with these new people. That’s a great thing!

Thank you so much to Wendy Flowers Ag insurance chick for sponsoring this weeks trims!
