Our handsome boy, Sebbie… we will miss you more than words can express.

On May 22nd, we had to say goodbye to our beautiful baby. He no longer suffers, and can enjoy all the snacks and chase all the birds and simply be happy in peace.

Sebbie, our daddy dog, meatstick, black shadow, stinky man. No one will ever come close to your perfection. The way you would hide behind Ryan’s legs just to poke your head out between his knees. Or how you would sit just underneath the corner of the blanket so it draped over the top of your head like a shawl. Or when you knew it was time for bed, you would grab your fish and growl and bark till daddy got up to tuck you in. The way you always knew exactly what we were saying and loved showing how smart you were with your tricks for treats. The way you always made sure to “clean the air” around us with your licks. The way you would wait until everyone was sleeping on the couch before you would bark just once to rile everyone up and sit back to watch the chaos unfold with a smile on your face. Even your sneaky t***s in front of the fan to cropdust everyone at once.

You weren’t even something we planned, a surprise dropped into our life and changed it forever for the best. You showed us it was ok to open our hearts again after Mazda, and taught us to love the mayhem. You showed our kids the wonderful love that only a dog can give someone while being their fiercest protector. And you were the BEST daddy dog ever, giving us the best friendship and love with our little home grown grumble. I will never be able to thank you enough for everything you have to us, and I hope that you know how much we absolutely loved you.

Aaliyah and Kai are so happy that you can finally get the chance to meet Sunshine, and give her some big daddy dog luvs. Do me a favor? Say hi to Michael and Eric once you get over that rainbow bridge, okay? Trust me, they will give you all the b***y scratches and treats you could ever want. 🩷 Luv you old man, Good bye for now… I know I’ll see you again someday.
