My temperature quilt, I used the year I was born. It was so fun to see all the temperatures and colors fall into place. It’s like doing a mystery quilt. I used fabric from my stash for the flyin geese. I was born in South Dakota where we can have extreme temperatures. The geese are the low temperature and the sky is the high temperature.

Such a pleasure to get to finish this family heirloom for a customer. Her mother had started the blocks of all 50 states many years ago and they were recently completed. It’s truly awesome!
