Job Opening: Part-Time/PRN Dog Boarding Facility Assistant
Are you passionate about working with dogs? Our dog boarding facility is looking for reliable part-time and PRN help to ensure our furry guests receive top-notch care.
Responsibilities include:
- Caring for dogs of various sizes and temperaments
- Feeding dogs twice a day and ensuring they have fresh water
- Letting dogs out into the yard 5-7 times per day
- Cleaning kennels and maintaining facility cleanliness (washing bowls, sweeping floors, spraying down the yard, picking up waste)
- Monitoring animal health and reporting concerns
- Assisting customers during drop-off and pick-up
- Following supervisor’s instructions and completing assigned duties
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Experience handling dogs (personally or professionally)
- Reliable transportation and ability to work early mornings (6 AM) and evenings (8 PM)
- Must be able to work independently and take initiative in completing tasks
- Comfortable working in a messy, hands-on environment
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and team members
Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience
