Hi everyone! I know, long time no post!
Sorry to keep you waiting but here are few news.
Zach has been pretty busy with work and started recently his training to become an equine podiatrist with the Institute of Equine Podiatry in Ocala, FL.
Defender work on and off all winter long on more ground training and simply enjoy life with friends. He is such a sweet boy who can be handled from little kids to people with alternate abilities.
Yesterday we decided that he was ready to step up a level in his training. Zach and Sarah as well as a barn friend we're able to get a first in hand ride on him. He was a little puzzled for a few seconds and then acted like he did this every day! What a good boy!
What a great day!

Today, Zach and Defender are celebrating a milestone: their 2-year gotcha day anniversary!!! As April is known to be the month of Defender's birth, we chose this date to celebrate his birthday 🎂. Wishing Defender a happy gotcha and 4th birthday!!!

Defender and I got a package today.
Surprise, it was our ribbons from the first half of 2025 HARTWIG FARMS ONLINE HORSE SHOW winter quarter.
Tons of blue and red ribbons to put on our wall!
