Wythe County Animal Control is located at 600 Atkins Mill Road, Wytheville, VA, 24382 and provides a variety of services to the residents and animals in the area.

This handsome boy was found in Wythe county laying beside the road. He is underweight and needs some true love. We don’t know much about his past, however we can tell it hasn’t been the best. We do not know how he is with other dogs at this time. Or cats. He seems to ignore ones that walk by his kennel. Once we see he’s gaining weight and starting to do better we will introduce him to other dogs here and see how he does. Come visit him.

Zoey showed up unexpectedly to someone home. She’s very sweet and easy to handle. She’s done great so far here at the shelter with other dogs. We do not know about cats. She definitely could use some groceries, which she is getting. If interested please stop by to visit her, get those apps in.

This handsome guy was unfortunately surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of his own. He’s great with other dogs so far. We do not know about cats. Was said to be house broken and loves kids. We can not guarantee this, just stating what is told to us. If interested please get applications in or come by to visit.

This sweet boy was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of his own. He has done great with other dogs here at the shelter so far. We do not know about cats. This handsome guy can be adopted anywhere. He’s already neutered and microchipped, knows how to sit and give paw. If interested, please get your adoption application in.

This beautiful girl was found wandering around in Wythe County. She’s a vocal girl when she wants your attention. She has adored everyone she has meet so far. We do not know how she would be with cats. She has tested well with other dogs so far at the shelter. If you know who this sweet girl belongs to or she is yours please message us for more info.

This handsome guy was found wandering around in with county. He’s scared and afraid! However when these beautiful girls decided to stop in with donations and give a few treats, he decided to perk up. So we asked these beautiful girls to help us name him. He has done great so far here at the shelter with other dogs. We do not know how he would be with cats. He will be available on 4/16/26 if not reclaimed. If he belongs to you or you know who he belongs too. Please call or message us.
