I took this picture a few years ago. Its a 10 inch deli cup. Something common to receive animals in. This is why we lean toward cloth bags in most cases instead. There was no animal left in this. Just the cup while I was vending a show. No harm done.

Just a very important reminder that everything live, from feeders to pets, needs to be transported safely. Even if the car feels cool, the sun will heat these containers and even bags, the same way it makes your arm feel hot if it's in the sun.

We do have foam boxes pretty often that you can get. Or please find other ways to protect them from the sun on the trip home.

There wasn't time for a single picture of the new tarantulas, but they were restocked yesterday! Thanks to a couple wonderful regular visitors for helping get this done ahead of schedule while I'm still down a hand 🫶 come see what we got in today 10-6.

This spotted night lizard is way cooler than she looks! Not only does she have adorably lumpy skin, and the ability to produce offspring by herself, she also gives live birth! We have one left...for now 😉 come see if you can spot her.

One of our eight-legged inmates, a beautiful Socotra Island Blue. These tarantulas are heavy webbers, and they are the only tarantula species that can be kept communally.
