North Texas Equestrian Center (NTEC)

Established in 1985. The main facility is comprised of four adjoining barns and can accommodate up to 100 horses. Arenas are watered and dragged daily.

North Texas Equestrian Center (NTEC) is located thirty minutes from downtown Dallas nestled in 50 acres along the shores of beautiful Lake Lavon in north eastern Collin County. North Texas Equestrian Center offers a wide array of amenities, and provides first rate care for the horse as well as convenience for horse owners. One side of each barn faces a courtyard which contains a covered, lighted a

rena that is approximately 18 x 60 meters in size and features mirrors along two walls. There is also a second covered, lighted arena on the property. Additionally, there is a large lighted outdoor jumping arena with all weather footing, two standard outdoor dressage rings with all weather footing, and a grass field with cross country jumps. Riding trails surround the 50+ acre property for riders to enjoy. Each barn contains a tack room with individual tack lockers as well as multiple cross ties and wash racks for the horse owner’s convenience. Superior construction with high ceilings, concrete walls, individual dutch doors, and numerous ceiling fans keep the horses comfortable in both hot and cold weather. Daily turnout is available for each in horse in spacious individual paddocks with quality grass. A well stocked tack shop is also onsite for the convenience of horse owners, NTEC students, and area residents

Congratulations to our own Vienna Lewis and her Zone 7 teammates on their silver medal placing at the USHJA 1.20/1.25m Junior Championships. Super proud of these girls and their horses. Way to represent!

Team NTEC cleaned up at the 2025 National Dressage Pony Cup & Small Horse Championships!
Highlights:
-NTEC Rubicella was Small Horse Training Level YR Champion with scores topping 76%, 3rd in Small Horse YR First Level , overall YR Small Horse High Point, and Second in 5 year old Futurity Small Horse
-NTEC Rubicella also competed in her first Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Classes and was 1st in the in-hand Westfalen class, 1st Amateur/Jr Handler class, and 1st in Materiale with scores up to 85%!
-NTEC Miss Perrier was Pony Training Level YR Champion, Pony First Level YR Champion, overall Pony YR High Point, and Second in 5 year old Futurity Pony at her second competition ever!
-NTEC Dorian Grey received over 70+% and multiple 9s in every class throughout the week
- Zelda Casanova and Apollo also had a great weekend and received their first qualifying score for regionals at 3rd level and their first score towards their bronze medal.

NTEC is celebrating this Independence Day weekend at National Dressage Pony Cup & Small Horse Championships @ WEC! Our very own Zainab Shah competed on homebred NTEC Rubicella and received:
-Champion in Small Horse Training Level (with a high score of 76+%)
- Third over all in Small Horse 1st Level

Zainab also competed NTEC Miss Perrier and received:
-Champion in Pony Training Level
-Champion in Pony 1st Level

A belated congratulations to the Team NTEC riders that competed at the DHJSC/USHJA Outreach Festival! 🎉🎉

Some highlights include:
Aria and her own Good Golly Miss Molly
-Short Stirrup Reserve Champion
- 🥈in the 18” Jr/Am Classic

Aria also piloted NTEC’s Ludwig van Baythoven in her first 2’ division and placed 5th in the equitation challenge!

Mikenzy and her own Seventh Heaven
-🥇18” U/S
-🥉in the 18” Jr/Am classic

Giada and her own NTEC Ann Carda
-🥈 .60m Jumper Medal
-5th in the 2’3” Hunter Classic

Ridhi and Gayfields King of the Road
-3 🥈’s in the WTC X-Rails
-multiple placings in WT X-Rails

Jiya and her own Gable had numerous placings and placed in their first .70m class!

We are so proud of these ladies and all of their accomplishments! Our local circuit starts up again in September.

Congratulations to the new owners of All in One “Alle”! 🎉🎉“Alle” was imported originally by NTEC and was alternate for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. This amazing gelding has done it all from FEI Para to FEI I-1 and will be deeply missed at NTEC. We wish the new team great success!
