Like many dogs, Rufus was found as a stray and nobody has come to claim him. He is a friendly, outgoing and cuddly boy estimated to be about 2 years old. He gets along with other dogs and would make a great companion!

Ari was found under a car in heat distress and with a maggot infested wound. He had been adopted from a rescue and was microchipped but the owner called back once and left voicemail and never returned other calls.

Thanks to Pound Pals Downriver, Ari’s wound was treated and he’s ready for a forever home.

Ari is neutered, FIV/FeLV tested and vaccinated.

If love were a superpower, Ozzy would be unstoppable. His joy and love are absolutely contagious. He loves everyone he meets and greets them with enthusiasm.

He’s about 1 or 2 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. He is treat motivated and eager to please. He does well with other dogs.

Opal is a quiet girl who was found stuck in the drywall of an apartment building. It’s unknown how she ended up there, but, thankfully, she was rescued.

Opal is quite shy, but she’s working on letting her guard down.

She is spayed, FIV/FeLV tested and vaccinated.

Grace Kelly was found lost and never claimed. She is friendly and eager to learn! Grace would make a great first dog for new dog owners as long as they are prepared to give the guidance and exercise a young dog needs.

🐾♥️ Meet King ♥️🐾
King was surviving outside until, one day, it got to be too hard. A resident opened their door one morning and King decided to seize the opportunity and come inside. He’s a sweet and gentle boy and will make a great companion.

Through routine testing, it was discovered he was FIV+ (similar to HIV in humans). So many cats live totally normal lives with FIV. FIV kitties can live along side other cats just fine as FIV is typically passed from mother to babies or through deep bite wounds that don’t typically occur with friendly cats living indoors.

He is neutered, FIV/FeLV tested and vaccinated.

Ranger was picked up as a stray in pretty rough shape.

About ten years old, he was teeming with fleas and resulting dermatitis. He was obsessively biting at his own skin trying to provide some relief. Now free of fleas and properly bathed with a soothing, medicated shampoo, Ranger is doing so much better.

He's a smart guy who walks like a dream and appears relatively housetrained. He has an active side and seems to prefer to be on the go most of the time.

Tiger and Butterfly were born homeless in a neighborhood overrun with unwanted cats. In their time at the shelter, they have really bonded so we are seeking a home that has room in their heart for them both.

They are intelligent cats looking for people who would appreciate them. They would thrive in a home with mature minded people.
