ok yall. It has been such a long night and morning! So as you all had seen I finally took pictures of the pups and had posted them yesterday. After I took some pictures I had noticed that little miss Marley was sounding wierd. So I called the vet they told me what to do for her like starting an antibiotic, trying to keep her warm, and trying to get fluids in her. I everything I could her and I just didn't work I lost her. Then last about hour or so so later I had 2 more pups that started doing the same. That was Mr. Ace and Miss Alice. So again I did everything I could to try to save them. It didn't work I ended up loosing both of them around 6:30 this morning. I started messaging the vet at 5am. They finally got back to me around 7 and said that they really believe that they have clostridial and that I needed to get ASAP to get them treated. I took the 3 I have and the 3 that I lost within 12 hours. First thing we did was get some antibiotics in them and they all got shots. They are not showing any sighns of it, but we all thought it was best to go ahead and treat them all just in case. So then we had an autopsy done on the others. Doc said we are doing the right treatment for the others bc that is what the 3 had.
So what is clostridial? Well it is a bacterial infectoin. This infectoin comes from the dirt. If the pups get it, it can make them very sick very quickly. The day Paisley had her pups I was gone and she had them outside on the ground. So they very well could have gotten it from when they was born. My pups are ALWAYS born in my home under my supervisoin. I just was not expecting them as soon as they came. It was a nice day and I thought Paisley and Weston could spend the day outside. Another way they could have gotten it is if momma had any kind of dirt on her ni***es that contained the bacteria then the pups nursed. Doc told me that for some reason they are seeing alot of this going around now days. Its not just people like me either it is also kennel puppies that are getting it. This is something I have never heard of before and have never had to deal with it before.
So with all of that being said. I will NOT be excepting any deposits on the pups at this time! I do not feel comfortable with it. My main concern is the pups health. I want to make sure that they are as healthy as they can be. So until I feel comfortable excepting deposits there will be non made. Who knows it may be a month or maybe when they are 8 weeks old. Like I said there health is the up most important to me not the deposit. If you would like to claim one thats fine but no deposits will be made.
