Dexter was one-of-a-kind. We were lucky enough to have this old man for the last months of his life. He was spoiled rotten and got to live out his days with his big 17 hand Warmblood girlfriend.

He taught Ava and every other kiddo who got to ride him so much. He loved cookies and neck scratches and had the cutest ears I’ve ever seen. My heart hurts for all kids in the barn who will miss him so much.

How lucky are we to have had the honor of loving him in his final days? We love you Dexter. Tell Pete we said hi. ❤️🌈🐴

Summer riding days are back at Bridge the Gap Equine ☀️🐴

This summer, we’ll be hosting single-day horseback riding sessions for kids ages 6–13. Each session is its own individual day from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM and costs $125 per child.

July session dates:
• July 1
• July 15
• July 29

Kids will get to ride, learn basic horse care and barn management, play games, and spend the day around the horses in a fun and supportive environment. These days are great for horse-crazy kids, beginners wanting to try riding, or current riders looking for extra saddle time this summer.

August dates will be posted later! Spots will be limited, so feel free to message us with any questions or to sign up.

Here’s what we’re proud to offer:
• A bright 200x80 indoor with GGT footing + a cozy viewing room
• Spacious 200x300 outdoor arena with jumps ready to go
• 12x12 matted stalls with windows (everyone gets a view!)
• Individual & semi-private turnout — always included
• Indoor hot/cold wash stall
• Tack room & bathroom
• Fly spray misting system
• Tribute feed, local grass hay, and alfalfa cubes (no extra fee)
• Trainer lives on-site
• A program built around Eventing, Jumpers, and solid all-around horsemanship. Lessons not required.
