Before fair week gets into full swing, I wanted to let everyone know that Melissa’s Paws and Claws will be CLOSED during the county fair so I can cheer on my own kids and support all of the amazing young exhibitors who have worked so hard this year.

Best of luck to every 4-H and FFA member—we're rooting for each of you! Your dedication, responsibility, and countless hours of hard work deserve to be celebrated. 💙💚

🐾 Weekly Recap from the Grooming Shop! 🛁✂️
What a week! We had a shop full of sweet pups getting pampered, tails wagging, and plenty of fur flying. Thank you to everyone who trusted us with your four-legged family members—we love seeing each and every one of them!
As if the wild Wyoming weather wasn't enough to keep us on our toes, our water heater decided it was time to retire! 😅 Thankfully, we got it replaced and were back to warm baths and happy pups in no time. It definitely made for an eventful week!
Owning a business means every day is a little different, but we wouldn't trade it for anything. Thank you for your patience, support, and for keeping us busy doing what we love.
Here's to another week of clean pups, fluffy blowouts, and hopefully... a little calmer weather! ☀️🌧️🐶

What an amazing first day! 💕 A huge THANK YOU to everyone who trusted me with your precious pups and helped make opening day so special. Seeing all those wagging tails, happy faces, and fresh grooms reminded me exactly why I love what I do.
After some time away, I’m beyond excited to be back behind the grooming table doing what I love most—making your furry family members look and feel their best!

To all my wonderful clients, both new and familiar: thank you for your support, your trust, and for sharing your adorable pups with me. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to meet even more four-legged friends along the way!
