Many of the horses that I look at for lameness issues also have symptoms of incoordination. These are usually caused by EPM.
You must eliminate the EPM symptoms before you can acurately diagnose the lameness.The treatment protocol takes about six weeks
and costs about 500$. Therefore if your horse is having trouble with his
training, make sure it's not an issue with the nervous system before you
become more aggressive in your training techniques.

The most common cause of colic in the winter is from impactions caused by decreased water in take. There are two factors involved 1. Not enough stimulus to drink since it is cool. Correct this by putting the correct kind of electrolytes on their grain everyday. 2. Some horse don't like cold water. Try warming the water. There are many different ways to warm their water,just search it.
