🎉I want to personally thank the Shoup family, the building donor and all involved with helping make this transition. I can not begin to explain the weight that has lifted off of my shoulders knowing our youth will be in the best (& impressively organized) care! Unfortunately I am not as available as I was in the beginning, and knew that was not fair to our kids! So, thank you for taking this on & managing it! (I will still be involved, but Sheila is now heading the operation & I am extremely confident in her abilities!)

🎉I’d also like to thank Sam Owen & the Summit County 4-h horse members for volunteering to take this over earlier in the year. Your eagerness and hard work definitely isn’t going unnoticed. We look forward to continuing to work together between counties to build a stronger 4-h program!

The closet has moved locations! Thank you to the Shoup family for moving the closet and taking on the role to manage it. I know you’re insanely excited to organize and help families like I’ve been able to do for the last 4 years.

💥LAST OPENING BEFORE WAYNE CO FAIR💥

Wednesday September 6th, the closet will be open from 6-7pm! The closet will not be at the fair this year. I will not be able to open it Thursday or Friday before, so if you need anything make sure you come 6-7 tomorrow night!

🔥Looking for a motivated individual that can relocate and dedicate more time to the “Wayne County Horse Show Closet” along with possibly opening it up to more counties!🔥

Unfortunately my weeks are becoming busier and I am not able to open it up as much as it should be. This will come with clothes racks, the show clothes/helmets/boots etc involved and an explanation of how the process flows. Please message me if interested, I will be picky on who takes this over as it is very close to my heart!❤️

We had a great turn out tonight! Even had the coolest cowboy give a big smile for the Closet! Again, Thank you to ALL who have donated to make this an amazing opportunity for families!! I wish you could all see the smiles it brings, hugs and Thank you’s I receive! I am only a small part of this, so THANK YOU for helping make it a little easier for families to get started or simply have nice outfits in the show arena without selling an arm and leg!💙

Next opening day is May 15th 4-6pm!

I will be open for anyone wanting to come look/rent out clothes tomorrow (Monday April 24th) from 4-6pm! With show season starting up, I won’t be available as much so I will try to set a few days a month with a time that I’ll be able to be here for anyone wanting to come out! We do have a lot of newer items donated, and a few more added to the men’s selection!
