Help Dobby and Jack find their furrrever family!
We hope everyone had a hauntingly good time yesterday. These two boys unfortunately saw way too many ghosts, ghouls, and monsters. We are unfortunately, not talking about on Halloween.
Dobby and Jack came into our care as part of a horrible cruelty case, 2 of more than 15 animals rescued. Kept secluded, not socialized, and part of a trailer and caged breeding operation. You can only image the horror they have lived.
Estimated to be 3 - 5 years old, Min Pin mixes, and now they are learning to trust. These boys are now neutered, up to date on Rabies and DHPP vaccines, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases, and microchipped.
We are NOT adopting them out together, as they will not properly bond and socialize. Their ideal home is a quiet home, no kids living in the home, and someone who is willing to help each of them grow.
There has been absolutely no signs of aggression, just pure fear. In the short time at the shelter, they have begun trusting staff. It's been refreshing watching them decompress and slowly come around.
If you think you might be the perfect furrrever family for either of these boys, please contact Woonsocket Animal Control at 401-766-6571 or 401-265-2057 to schedule a meet and greet. Applications can be done at the time of meet and greet or in advance. Applications done in advance speedline the adoption process.
Thank you everyone!!!
