MG/4M Farms MG Farms is family owned and operated by Ron & Shaunna Melancon. We have 2 children, Rylie and St MG Farms is mainly commercial cow/calf operation.

We have incorporated registered Hereford and Angus cows. We are very committed to improving the quality and longevity of our cattle. We have been in the cattle business for 35+ years. Our herd of brangus cross cattle are bred to Hereford bulls. We think this 3way cross is excellent for producing a superior momma cow. We also have a herd of black baldy cows. These cows are bred back Angus bulls. W

e precondition all our calves for 60 days before they are sent to the feed lots. We hand feed all of our replacement females every day. They are on grass pasture and we only supplement them until the rye grass is ready.
