Meet Kodiak – A Loving Chocolate Lab Looking for a New Home or Foster home

Kodiak is a 4-year-old chocolate Labrador Retriever with a big heart and a playful spirit. He’s a fantastic family dog—wonderful with children and gets along great with other dogs. However, he would do best in a home without cats.

Kodiak is not neutered yet but is up to date on all his vaccines. He has plenty of energy and would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can run and play safely.

Due to an unexpected medical emergency, his current family must be away for an extended period and are heartbroken to rehome him. They want to ensure Kodiak finds a loving, active home where he’ll be cared for and cherished.

🎉SAFE!!! Tagged by another rescue!!

🚨Foster Commitment Needed!!
This 6 yo female lab will be euthanized if a rescue doesnt tag her by Monday. We are desperately trying to find a foster to commit. Promise (name we gave her since shes inly a #) would arrive to us next Thursday 5/8 She's a beautiful girl.. good with others. We don’t have any additional info as it’s a very rough and rural shelter. Can anyone help us???

📣STEVE - READY FOR ADOPTION

Steve is a wonderful 1 yo, 50 lb cuddle bug. He is eager to please and very treat/food motivated! He loves to lay in the sun, go for walks and play with his foster sisters (both fur and human). Steve knows his name, how to sit and is working on other commands. He is mostly potty trained, but he is getting good at letting us know when he needs to go out. He sleeps well in his cage and will whistle if he needs to go out overnight. He is very chill, very playful and also pretty good on his leash.

UPDATE - IN A FOSTER TO ADOPT

Rain was adopted from TLC 3 years ago. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, her family can no longer keep her.

Meet Rain! Rain is a 5 yo yellow lab mix who loves to play, go for walks, and is the best at cuddles. Her interests include playing fetch, “hunting” squirrels, and of course her toys and bones. When it comes to her routine, she is very good with the time. She will let you know when she needs to go outside because she just stares at you and gives a very soft cry. The perfect home for Rain would be a single person or couple with no young children or grandchildren, preferably with a medium to large fenced yard. She loves to run and get her energy out and having that space would be perfect for her. She loves to explore but if she sees a squirrel, just be prepared for her to try and get it. When she is leashed, she does very well, but sometimes has those moments. All in all, she is an amazing dog who will bring so much light in your life. She protects, has fun, but most importantly will love you unconditionally. She is potty trained and does not need to be crated. She is trustworthy with the fact that she is not a counter surfer, isn’t mischievous when home alone, and she is really good at knowing what her toys are. She doesn’t bother things that are not hers!

Atlas is a young, happy-go-lucky pup with a heart full of love and energy! He first came to TLC at around 1 year old and was quickly adopted, but was sadly returned two months later through no fault of his own – his adopters just didn’t have the time he deserves.

Atlas is the perfect mix of playful and polite. He’s full of energy and would thrive with an active family, but he’s also incredibly well-behaved for his age. Atlas is housebroken, neutered, fully vetted, and ready to go!

He’s a social butterfly who adores other dogs and people, and he’s never met a car ride he didn’t love. Whether it’s hiking, road trips, or just cuddling after a day of play, Atlas is all in.
