Baltimore County is adding an extra incentive to adopt a dog or cat from the Baltimore County Animal Shelter by reducing the adoption fee by 50 percent.

Brutus' foster family is on vacation, so one of our other volunteers visited and got some great photos! I find it very hard to believe there is not a line of interested adopters wanting to meet this handsome boy! Carmen, a nine-year-old boxer from Cincinnati, is fighting for her life after she apparently tried to protect her owner in a house fire. The man died, but firefighters were able to resuscitate the dog. Cincinnati affiliate WKRC has the story.

11 year old Lucy is looking for immediate foster. Her family is moving and not taking her with them...She is in PA - do we have an approved home with a soft spot for seniors?
