Maybe for 2017, instead of resolutions, we can reflect on what we believe makes our country (for me, that is the USA) great?

I'll start: what makes my country great is our tradition of taking care of those in need (yes, it could be stronger, ... yet it is a tradition that I have found in our history and that I have sought to encourage in our present and for our future).
