HAPPY UPDATE: they were adopted together ❤️❤️

Meet Berry and Toast, a heartbreakingly sweet bonded pair who recently landed in the shelter through no fault of their own. Their story is the kind that sticks with you: their loving owners passed away, and these two suddenly found themselves in an overcrowded shelter, surrounded by unfamiliar sounds and faces.

Berry, the big sister, is about 6 years old and 60 lbs. She’s gentle, calm, and clearly draws strength from her smaller sibling.

Toast is just 3 years old and 12 lbs. She’s glued to Berry’s side—her source of comfort and safety in a world that suddenly turned upside down.

They’re confused. They’re grieving. But even in this chaotic environment, their bond is unwavering. Berry watches over Toast. Toast follows Berry’s lead. Together, they find peace.

They need each other. But more than that—they need someone who can pull them from an overcrowded county shelter and give them a home again.

This is Buster. He ran off from his owner in The Cat Doctor parking lot this morning. He’s a very sweet 20lb orange and white boy and is most likely in the surrounding neighborhoods of our office off of Roswell Road. If you see him please contact us at 404.257.0048.

We have started to collect donations for hurricane relief. We’re working to help a local box truck leaving Sunday for North Carolina, and have been in touch with two other groups working with helicopters making direct drops in NC. There are also local folks headed to South Carolina, South Georgia, and Steinhatchee Florida. We’re hoping to help fill as many needs as possible🙏

***charcoal, small propane canisters, and camp stoves have also been requested.
