Hello, hello, and Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s been a minute. I guess once a rescuer, always a rescuer, as I’ve place various owner surrenders this past year. Two (plus 11🤪) that are still w me, Luna and Tommy, are some special souls I saved in Indy. It all started last fall when I was driving and saw a beautiful white bully babe w a pink harness, found the owners, and was asked to take. More on Luna and Tommy’s stories soon, but spoiler alert: Luna was pregnant!!

Luna had 12 pups, and 11 survived; 6 males and 5 females. We lost the only all black female.😔 A few were incredibly small and almost didn’t make it but with some bottle feeding, as well as tube feeding, the pups bounced back. They are now all thriving and spreading endless joy! The males were named after rappers, and the females after RHONY (yes, for any of you that followed PPR in the past, the Bravo obsession still lives on). Pictured are Luna’s little ladies, rocking their V Day fits! These babes will be ready to head to foster homes in pairs soon, and will be available for adoption shortly after. All puppies will be fully vetted, just like they were in PPR. If you or anyone you know is interested, please email: [email protected]

Enjoy this day dedicated to love…puppy love.❤️

We hope you all are doing well!

Lady is a former PPR dog (mother of the Disney kids litter) and is lost in Knoxville, TN. Her incredibly loving family is devastated. They are somewhat new to the area and could use all the help they can get. Know anyone in Knoxville that can hang flyers? Regardless, please SHARE.

Let's get Lady home.

*If seen, please call number immediately and report time, location, and direction headed. Do not chase.

FKA Stitch is still looking for a new home. He was originally part of our Disney litter. We took in an incredibly sick mama dog who gave birth to very sick puppies. After losing one along the way, we fought like crazy for the rest, even as they declined. Their foster spent hours every day and night caring for them; in the end, the rest pulled through and all found wonderful homes. So you see, now that Stitch's family needs to rehome him means we have to once again rally for this sweet boy's future and need your help.

This 2.5 year old handsomely spotted guy would do best in a home w a fenced in yard to call his own. He does well around children, but not so much cats. We are also looking for a home without other dogs or that is dog savvy with a friendly female. Sadly Stitch was left outside with a resident dog whom he got into it with after there was redirecting, due to commotion w a dog barking on the other side of the fence. A new baby is on the way, so for everyone's safety, it was decided by Stitch's family that he needs to find a new home. We are here to help and hope you are too!

The interesting thing is that we often see applications from families without another dog. Yet they don't want to adopt a dog that would do best as an only dog. Some of the loviest, most cuddly dogs prefer to be only dogs and bring their humans as much love and happiness as multiple dogs would. Plus, even if you adopt a "dog friendly" dog doesn't mean that dog will love every dog he/she meets. Dogs are often more so "dog selective," just as we don't always love everyone we meet. Some dogs can also be considered dog friendly and not do well in unstructured situations such as dog parks (which we never recommend). We ask you to consider giving this darling dude a new blue print for his happily ever after. If interested in further information, please send us a message.

Happy Friday! Let's get Stitch home!

🔥We are all for summer, but man, this past weekend's temps! Sometimes you just need to nap in the AC instead of melting outside. Pictured below is snuggle bug (originally known as) Stitch. Sitch was adopted out as a puppy from our Disney litter. These babes fought like crazy to survive a few years back; we need to make sure Stitch finds the best forever.

This handsome fella is now looking for a new home. To be transparent as to why, Stitch got into it with the resident dog after being left unattended in the yard. (We point this out to remind everyone that even dogs that have lived together for years shouldn't be left unattended outside; no dog should, for safety reasons.) Another dog came up to the other side of the fence and caused heightened energy on Stitch's side. Either he or his housemate redirected, which caused a situation. Sitch has since displayed reactivity towards other dogs and has been kept separate. Between this and welcoming a new baby, Stitch's family is looking for a home better equipped for Stitch's current needs. (No negative comments, as they will be deleted. We are here to support Stitch's family and help transition him to the next chapter of his life.)

We are looking for a home without other dogs or a dog savvy person who is well versed in dog to dog communication (and will also will slowly integrate, preferably with a friendly female dog). Stitch did well living with other dogs in the home for the first few years of his life. Yet he would be so happy even as an only dog, as loving on his human(s) is one of his favorite activities.

Interested or have any questions? Shoot us a message. We'd love to talk more about this sweet dude.

🚨🚨🚨 URGENT FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPTER NEEDED 🚨🚨🚨

While we haven't been able to save new dogs recently, we still have an obligation to always care for those we have saved in the past. Three year old Dillon was rescued from a southside shelter last year after sitting and waiting for someone to break him out for some time. He now is back and needs a foster (or foster to adopt home) ASAP. Dillon is not the kind of dog that will do well in boarding, as he craves being around his humans.

Below are previous pictures we had posted of Dillon. He does take a slow intro with some dogs and has done well around a variety of dogs while under the care of a trainer (me), but he would do best with another female dog his size or bigger OR in a home as an only dog with all the attention on him. Dillon has proved to us to be a wonderful listener with dog savvy humans, knows basic obedience, and has so much love to give. His time is running out before he will have to be placed in boarding, where we know he will deteriorate quickly. We ask you all to please help us find a warm and loving home for Dillon ASAP with a fenced in yard for him to live his best life, even if temporarily in a foster home while we search for his new happily ever after.

On a personal note, I tested positive for Covid on the day I was scheduled to be vaccinated. After being so careful for so long, it is extra awful to feel so indescribably horrible. This virus is no joke. In the midst of it, my stress for finding a new home for Dillon is hard to handle. Please, please help us do best by Dillon and find him the home he needs where he will be set up for success and a great future.

*If interested, please send a private message to our page so we can further discuss Dillon and if he would be a good fit for your home. Thank you.

We've been on sort of a hiatus but of course had to take a moment to celebrate the best boy's heavenly birthday. Sometimes it feels like Junior was in our arms just yesterday; other times it feels like forever. How lucky we were all to know, from near and far, such a magical soul?

Junior had the purest of purely good souls. I personally have never known an energy like his. Junior was kindness, love, togetherness, teamwork, faith, belief, hope, and joy wrapped up in every fiber of his being. Loving him has been one one the great honors (and pleasures) of this lifetime.

Junior ended up in a frail, tiny body but when we all think of him, we think of him as larger than life. That's because Junior lived large. We made sure every day counted thanks to so many of you joining us in his corner. Junior was and is immensely loved, that is for certain. We are forever thankful for Team Junior, a phenomenon that will never be forgotten. While Junior only spent 6 months on this planet, he lived a life many dogs can only dream of. Through all the sickness and scary times, Team Junior rallied in the most beautiful way and wrapped Junior in the most magestic love.

Happy 2nd Birthday to ! Junior's mom and sisters are living their best lives, with their angel brother watching over them.

We miss and love you infinity, Junior.💙

Briana had a family set up waiting for her, emailing continuously and so excited to meet. Then one of the applicants became sick with Covid and asked to put off the adoption for several weeks. We said of course, as Briana sat waiting anxiously for her forever family. She finally got to meet them last night; everything went great with the resident dog and people. Sadly the girlfriend felt she was too big.

So here is Briana now, back looking for her forever family. We are bummed, but know it wasn't meant to be, and have no doubt that her wonderful fam is out there. Interested in a 3 month old brindle beauty? Let us know. Briana deserves the world. ❤️

We've been seeing a post going around the past few days that really speaks to us: "I feel like we are stuck inside of a snow globe and some a**hole keeps shaking it."

Anyone else?

Goodnight, world. Off to dream about sunny beaches.

Oh, little Angela Rose. 😍

Angie is still looking for her forever family, as unfortunately the family we had lined up decided they didn't want to adopt at this time. While her foster has a blast with Angie's adorable personality and zest for life, it is fine time Angie found her home! If you're interested, please comment below or shoot us a message. We just adore this little pug looking pittie and know you will too!

Back in the beginning of November, we were asked to assist with a puppy that wasn’t nursing at the shelter. She was shivering and originally wouldn’t latch onto mom. We unexpectedly took in mom and the litter that night, thanks to our foster saying yes. We named mom Rosie, after my beloved aunt that had just passed and named this little pup after her middle daughter, Julie. Just like human Julie (pictured), we have found ourselves in awe by this little lady’s resilience and fight to survive. She has blossomed into a beautiful brindle babe, overcoming the odds, now living life with her sisters.

Julie and her sissies are currently finding their forever homes. We are working on processing applications and setting up meets, one pup at a time. Currently, Sofia has a home and we are beginning to work on the others!
