What a special accomplishment for this team 🤍

Congratulations to Ainsley and “Xena” (Intent to Smokum) on being named the Nevada Cowgirl AQHA Horse of the Year for Junior High Rodeo!

This one is especially meaningful to us because Xena was raised, trained and loved right here at home. Watching horses we’ve bred go on to succeed with their people is truly one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

Xena is by Pl***oy With Intent and out of Roosters Fancy Henna — both horses proudly owned by Silver Hills Ranch.
Seeing a mare we raised and trained go on to earn AQHA Horse of the Year honors with Ainsley as the top horse/rider combo in the state of Nevada is incredibly special to our entire family.

Xena may be small, but she is mighty, and Ainsley’s continued faith in her horse is a huge part of what made this possible. Their partnership, grit, and consistency truly paid off.

Congratulations girls on an incredible season, your buckle, scholarship, and this well deserved title. We are so proud of you both and excited to watch what the future holds 💜🏆🐴

Preschool has officially started for the weanlings and baby Simon is already proving to be a fantastic student 🥰
On his very first day he proudly led the way back to his stall like he had done it his whole life. Smart, willing, and full of personality already.
Simon is by Malice With Intent and out of Wrangle My Blue Hart. He is expected to be on the larger side with a sire just under 15.1 hands and a 16 hand dam.

✨ HR Sharpshooter (“Ronnie”) – 2020 AQHA/APHA Gelding For Sale ✨
HR Sharpshooter aka Ronnie, is a talented and personable young guy with a bright future ahead. Standing 15 hands, he is a well built with good feet and legs and requires no maintenance with no soundness issues.

Ronnie has spent the last year transitioning into the ranch horse classes (was started and shown as a Reiner) and is loving them particularly in ranch trail, where he continues to excel and gain confidence each outing. He is really starting to come into his own this year and has all the pieces to continue developing into a standout ranch horse.

Most recently, Ronnie was shown at the Gold N Grand where he competed in large classes throughout the week, coming home with two Top Five buckles and consistently placing in the Top Five in Ranch Trail Amateur WT.

He has been brought along thoughtfully and correctly. Ronnie hauls well, settles in easily. He loves to work, and is always willing to please.
