We are dangerously low on adult dry dog food. If you'd like to donate food to the homeless dogs in our care, we'd be so appreciative! Any help prevents us from spending crucial funds that can instead be used for surgeries, medicines, spay/neuter procedures and any other life-saving veterinary practices!

How often do you see a dog you want to pet, cuddle, and give kisses? Every day? Me too!

Giving dogs space, especially from Your Dog & Children, is vital to help dogs working on rehabilitation and training.

Don't forget: 🌟 Just because your dog or child wants to say hi doesn't mean anyone else does. Your dog might be friendly, but that doesn't mean every dog is. 🌟

The number of people who tell me they're exhausted by people allowing their children and dogs to run up to their dog is staggering. Please don't be that person.

Forcing a dog to interact with your dog and/or children is like forcing you to interact with a stranger wanting to be in your face. No one wants that.

Let's all be friends and ask from a distance. Then when someone says "Yes, you can say hi" we let them meet & be friends.

What's that little thing taped to the wall behind Duckie's head? *pause* ... It's the thing she's been searching for but can't find. 😂

She reminds me that sometimes no matter how many days in a row we might train for something it doesn't mean perfection is guaranteed. Is she the smartest? Heck no, but she's very pretty and she tries. 🫶🩷🐶

Angela is a great trainer and seeing the more than 30 ribbons her coton de tulear, Loki, has won in competition gives me a lot of joy. I love having a network of trainers to work with and learn from.

Continuing my education and that of my dogs is important. Duckie's training is about building a relationship between the 2 of us. She's often confused by most things in life, but she's learning to trust me and to tell me what she wants.

My dogs make a lot of eye contact with me (for attention & to ask for direction) because we do so many variations of training. Training isn't just about building understanding; it's also about building a trusting relationship.

Day 1 of Barks & Blooms JB Family Growers was amazing. I loved having the opportunity to meet so many dogs and compassionate people. My vendor neighbors were caring & welcoming too.

I can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!!! Come say hi and pick your own beautiful bouquets along the way.

Pro tip: Get the lavender lemonade from the Perking Spot Coffee truck!

😎 Specializing in fear based aggression rehabilitation and PTSD service dogs for veterans & civilians. But I do everything from new puppy prep to canine good citizens.

🐶 I've had 3 PTSD service dogs of my own throughout my life. So I deeply understand how beneficial they can be. They've literally saved my life.

🐩 Non-practicing professional dog groomer specializing in creative styles (like turning a mini poodle into a My Little Pony).

🏩 As of 2025 my businesses have won a total of 15 'Best of' awards including multi-state Best of PNW 3 times. This is also thanks to my incredible teams, not just me!

🐵 Fostered & helped to rehabilitate hundreds of dogs, since 2003.

😷 I've worked as a veterinary assistant and loved the industry, but couldn't emotionally handle the end of life part.
