I can't believe I almost forgot to post this. Nashville (Kazuri N JoyfulNoise Appearing At the Opry) bred by Sarah Sweetman & Dolly Stearns, aged 6 months and a few days, went to the National Beagle Club and competed in the 6-9 month old puppy class for sweeps and the real National. He didn't end up staying for Beaglefest.

It was his first time ever in the ring, and he look it all in stride taking 1st place in his class for both Sweeps, under breeder judge Madeleine Back, and also at NBC under breeder judge Mrs Barbara Scherer, with some lovely comments by both judges.

Thank you to Karen for presenting our litle wild child so well.

Nashville is the son of "Denver" (GCHB Youngsong Sunshine On My Shoulders At Outwest) and "Violet" (CH Kazuri's Keeping Up Appearances). He is owned by Sarah Sweetman, Lisa Young, Mike and Karen Kurtzner.

I would have loved to attend our beagle National, but driving to Amana and staying for 2 weeks to attend the NBC and Beaglefest wasn't practical with new puppies at home - so while the hubby watched them I got to sneak off for a couple of days to local shows.

I thought it was time to introduce my litter.

We had such a fun weekend at Kelso-Longview this weekend.

Nick went BOV all 3 days under judges Mrs Terry L Berrios, Mr Glen Vernon and Mr David Denis.

Nick went on to a Hound Group 4 on Friday under Mrs Polly (Mrs Robert) D Smith and a OH Group 3 under Mr David Denis alongside Kayla and Potato.

Even though we won BOV, Nick and I didn't compete in group on Saturday as we transported a puppy to his forever home in California --we were so thrilled to hear Kayla and Potato got a Houd Group 4 and then OH group2 again! And little puppy Tibbs is fitting in perfectly at his new home.

On Sunday we were back at it with a Hound Group 1 under Mr David Denis, an OH Group 1 under Mrs Polly (Mrs Robert) D Smith and Oh RBIS under Mr Gary Stiles. I was also so proud of Malia and Savannah who got a regular group 4 under judge Mr David Denis.

What a thrill to have beagles that I both bred and own/co-own in the lineup every single day this cluster.

Congratulations to Charlie (Kazuri’s Mystery of Hope) who got WD/BOW for his first major in Sequim today under judge Mrs. Edy Dykstra-Blum. He is one major win away from his CH title!

Thank you to his breeders Becky Smith and Susan Savage-Green who entrusted him to me - my stud Watson is his father.

I am thrilled at multiple of my dogs and their progeny doing so well in the statistics!

Murphy (BIS BISS GCHS Kazuri's Everything's Gonna Be Alright) bred by Sarah Sweetman, Mike & Karen Kurtzner, owned by Sarah Smith-Falkner, Sarah Sweetman and Ruth Sampson is currently #2 Breed in 13s.

His daughter Savannah (GCHB Kazuri's Gonna Be Peachy CGC DCAT FDC) Sarah Sweetman owned by Malia Throop & Sarah Sweetman is currently #19 Breed and #6 in NOHS in 13s exclusively handled by Malia.

Murphy's 8 month old son Beacon (CH Kazuri N JoyfulNoise Sunshine of Your Love) bred/owned by Sarah Sweetman & Dolly Stearns is #21 in breed after finishing his CH title on his 8th month birthday with mulitple BOV placements over specials (one as a BOV a beagle specialty)

Murphy's 8 month old daughter Lyric (CH JoyfulNoise N Kazuri Sound of Sunshine) bred by Sarah Sweetman & Dolly Stearns and owned by Dolly Stearns & Ruthie Tesky is #21 in breed after finishing her CH title at 7 months with multiple BOV placements over specials and a regular Group 2.

Tex (MBISS GCHS Kazuri N Van-Mar Trouble In Texas) bred and owned by Chelsea Metteer & Sarah Sweetman and co-owned by Hillary Arnaud is currently #11 in Breed and #2 in NOHS for 15s.

Tex's daughter Shania (GCH Van-Mar That Don't Impress Me Much) bred and owned by Chelsea Metteer is #6 in Breed in 13s.

I am so thrilled to partner with some incredible humans as we strive to breed healthy dogs with great temperaments and solid structure. It's always a work in progress, and I am so thankful for my beagle community.

Had a wonderful weekend in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho this last weekend despite the heat wave that made up all sleepy and hot. Thank the Lord for the invention of fans and pop up tents!

Malia, Sarah S-F and I took our beagles and had some fun. Between us we had the sole beagle entry in both varieties.

We took Nick (MBIS MBISS GCHP Kazuri's All I Want For Christmas ATT CGC TKN BCAT), Savannah (GCHB Kazuri's Gonna Be Peachy DCAT), Walker (Kazuri's It's A Cake Walk), Bialy (Zamaradi's Baily), Elphaba (Kazuri's No Trouble Defying Gravity), Roads (Kazuri's Find New Roads), Lucy (GCH Wilderness You Can't Take My Sass BCAT) and Gracie (GCHB Zamaradi's Beautiful Mistake DCAT), Malibu (CH Kazuri's Blue Skies Over Malibu).
We also saw Amie and Emma Adams with their lovely cavalier siblings Gemma (Clairity Jewel Of The Northern Crown) and Hammy (Clairity Kazuri I Showed Up In Boots) - this was their first Cavalier King Charles litter and co-bred with Kazuri - I couldn't be prouder of them.

Malibu (Kazuri's Blue Skies Over Malibu) also got his final points and went home as a new champion with a WD/BOW win under judge Ms Rhonda Silveira!! He marks Malia's 4th champion in 2 years of showing dogs in AKC which is pretty cool.

This little boogie is the first CH for both of his parents CH Meadow Crest Blue My Mind and Kazuri's Everything I ever Wanted.

He is loved by Malia and Brandon, and co-owned by myself. We have some high hopes for this sweet blue berry boy.

Lucy Gray (GCH CH Wilderness Can’T Take My Sass BCAT) who is co-owned by myself (Sarah Sweetman) and Malia Throop

Lucy Grey was with the Best Junior Handler In specialty show, 1st in sweeps class, select bitch on Friday and Monday (which puts her over halfway to her bronze at 18 months old!). After being a little crazy in the ring the first couple of days, she went back to back to back OH group placements for her first three times EVER In groups with an OHG4/OHG4/OHG2!!

Mr Murphy (BIS BISS GCHS Kazuri's Everything's Gonna Be Alright) deserves his own post.

On Friday under Mr. Robert E Hutton, Murphy won the breed. He went on to win the Hound group under judge Mr Jon Cole and then Best In Show under Mr. Robert E Hutton. He also won the breed every other day of the cluster and got two Hound group 3s.

I couldn't be more proud of Murphy as a breeder or owner! And so thankful to Randy who presents him so well.

We thought it would also be fun to do a photo of Murphy with some of the kids who were at the show (Vada Potato has already gone home so is unfortunately not in the shot). In the group shot it is Mac and Pickles (son and daughter of Mishka/Murphy), Savannah (daughter of Echo), Murphy, Beacon & Lyric (son and daughter of Willow/Murphy).

Three of his kids finished their CH titles this weekend, and another got two 5 point majors! Super results.

Murphy was bred by Sarah Sweetman, Mike and Karen Kurtzner. He is owned by Sarah Sweetman, Sarah Smith-Falkner and Ruth Sampson.
