🌶️🐾 Welcome Nacho Picante to Bulldog Haven NW! 🐾🌶️

Say hello to Nacho Picante, the newest spicy little snack to join the Bulldog Haven NW family! This handsome guy has officially landed in rescue, and he’s already stealing hearts with his charm, sweetness, and that irresistible bulldog personality we all adore.

Nacho Picante is settling in beautifully and showing us just how loving, goofy, and people‑oriented he truly is. We’re still getting to know all the details of his personality and preferences, but one thing is already clear — this boy is ready for a fresh start, a soft place to land, and a family who will love him forever.

As Nacho Picante continues his vetting and evaluation, we’ll share more about his needs, quirks, and ideal home. For now, we’re celebrating this wonderful new arrival and giving him all the care, comfort, and support he deserves.

The 9th Annual Bulldog Ball is Saturday, October 3, 2026. Our rescue efforts for 2027 depend heavily on what we achieve together on this special night. You can help in three key ways:

1. RESERVE YOUR TICKETS TODAY
Join us for an incredible evening of food, fun, and fundraising at the Seattle Marriott Redmond. Tickets are $100 and include a hosted bar, hors d'oeuvres, and a full dinner. Bring your friends - you can even reserve a whole table!

2. BECOME AN EVENT SPONSOR
Sponsorship opportunities are still open to have your name or business featured on our event webpage, page and event materials.

3. DONATE TO OUR LIVE & SILENT AUCTIONS

🐾💗 Welcome Sadie Sugar Pop to Bulldog Haven NW! 💗🐾

Meet Sadie Sugar Pop, a 3‑year‑old, 15‑pound French Bulldog mix who has just arrived at Bulldog Haven NW — and she’s already stealing hearts. This tiny sweetheart is settling into foster care and getting the TLC she needs before she’ll be ready for her forever family.

Sadie is a curious, gentle girl who starts off a little timid but warms up quickly. Once she feels safe, her playful side shines through — she loves toys, wrestling with the small dogs in her foster home, and exploring the yard. She’s also a big fan of cuddles, sunny spots, and occasionally “borrowing” a sock if you leave one within reach.

She walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and is potty trained with regular outdoor breaks. Sadie isn’t very vocal, but she’ll let you know when someone’s at the door or when the garbage truck makes its grand appearance.

Her compatibility with cats and children is still being evaluated, but she’s doing wonderfully with the small dogs in her foster home. As she continues to settle in and receive care, we’re excited to watch her personality blossom even more.

If you’re looking for a sweet, curious, playful little companion, Sadie Sugar Pop might be your girl.

🐾❤️ Welcome El Chapo Churro to Bulldog Haven NW! ❤️🐾

Say hello to El Chapo Churro — but his friends call him Chapo, and trust us… you’ll be his friend within seconds. This 5‑year‑old, pint‑sized, 45‑pound stocky sweetheart has officially joined the Bulldog Haven NW family, and he’s already melting hearts with his wiggly enthusiasm and endless love.

Chapo is a certified people‑lover. A quick glance, a soft word, or the lightest touch is all it takes for him to break into the wiggliest tail dance you’ve ever seen. Honestly, “Wiggle Butt” might be the most accurate nickname he’s ever had.

He sticks close to his foster mom throughout the day, always ready for a smile, a hug, or a moment of connection. At night — or when his foster mom steps out — he relaxes in his crate like a champ. With time, he may graduate to free roam, but for now he’s doing great with structure and routine.

Chapo has lived with teenagers and thinks they’re the perfect audience for his wiggle‑butt greetings. Younger kiddos might get knocked over by his enthusiasm, so a home with older children or adults would be ideal.

When it comes to food, Chapo is… particular. He likes to sniff things once, twice, three times (maybe more) before deciding if it’s worthy of a lick. He’s a grazer — a mouthful here, a nibble there — and sometimes he practices his own version of intermittent fasting.

Chapo enjoys daily walks — sometimes leisurely strolls, sometimes full‑sp*ed Olympic training sessions. If he’s moving fast, he’ll give you a backward glance as if to say, “Come on, keep up!”

In the coming days, Chapo will be visiting the vet for care related to his eyes, ears, and skin. We’ll share updates as he continues to feel better and settle into rescue.
