The first time I saw him, I knew he was different.
A blind eye that told a story, a scar above it that earned him the name ā€œScarā€, along with many other wounds throughout his cape, and a wild mane running 8ā€ down the back of his neck ā€” this was no ordinary buck.

Last season, I finally got the chance to take him after watching him for a few weeks trying to get him figured out. It was one of those rare hunts you never forget ā€” the kind you replay in your head a thousand times.

Now, his pedestal mount is finished, and every time I look at it, I see more than a deer. I see a once-in-a-lifetime moment shared with the people I love most. šŸ¦ŒšŸ§”

Itā€™s been a busy season in the shop, and Iā€™ve been terrible about keeping up with posting on here šŸ˜…. But I finally slowed down enough to share a few of my clientsā€™ deer mounts that went home this spring.

Every mount has a story, and Iā€™m grateful for the trust my clients put in me to preserve those memories. I truly appreciate all the support.
