Beginner SAFE! CUTE mover! ~~Quiet, soft, sweet~~

Looking for a step up horse for that timid kid ready to graduate from a pony?
Looking for a "learn to canter on" horse for your program?
This is the type of horse I enjoy riding now that I am older and my joints ache more than I want to admit to myself....

This gorgeous 11-year-old grey Appendix mare is as kind and quiet as she is pretty. Suitable for all level riders. She offers a soft, responsive ride. She’s honest to the fences with a great jump, making her a fun and confidence-building ride in the ring or on the flat. She loves to jump, no rushing, just happy ears and NO stop.

She is out of shape simply because I don't have a lesson program anymore. She has a habit of swapping her lead after a couple laps when she gets tired so will need a rider who can hold her in her lead until she gets back into shape :)

No marish behavior, no drama, just a reliable, sweet partner ready to go to work.

New addition to the farm! This sweet girl, out of our lovely Knabstrupper mare ‘Star’, came into this world as sweet as you please and as pretty as can be!!

Baby in the house and two years of having NO time to get any of my own bred... so it is time to recognize my limits and reduce my broodmare herd. I have a couple of old girls that will retire with me, but it's time to allow a few others to go to add to another program. Finally getting back into a little bit of work after yet ANOTHER chunk of time off due to weather. He’s so tolerant of this intermittent work. We play a little on the lunge during warm up (all very polite play, just some fun goofy bucks) then it’s on to work!! We’re learning about the value of long lining and he’s so stinking smart! This stuff comes easy to him. Love working with him.

SNEAK PEEK! This weekend Million Air (by Million Dollar, out of Calista v. Colestus) went through the North America Stallion Sport Test at Hilltop Farm. He was the picture of gentlemanly perfection with his behavior and showing of all the natural talent his breeding offers him. I couldn’t be more pleased with him. He scored 8s on Rideability and on Scope. Comments from the guest rider included that he was a pleasure to ride and that he really listened to his rider and said ok, what next 🥰. A true partner in this horse. HUGE thanks to Addison Reed for bringing along Maverick so perfectly. Everyone talks about the value of bringing a young horse along slow and right and happy in his job and that’s exactly what Addison did. I’m giddy with the scores Maverick received and the overall best boy he has been this last month when we threw him at his shows and testing and all the fun things!!!

Million Air went to his first horse show this weekend! This baby stallion was perfection! Wandering on a loose rein, warmed up calm and confident, jumped every jump pointed at, and even jumped 2 classes! I’m so excited for this boy’s future and so grateful for a great training team! NA Stallion Sport Test in 3 weeks!! So excited!! Thank you so much Addison Reed for all you have done with him!

Million Air “Maverick” is in full training in prep for the NA Stallion Sport Testing with Reed Training and he is EXCELLING. This is a true testament to good breeding, natural talent, and a truly Exceptional training program. Mav is sensible, sweet, and just fun to watch with his goofy personality and natural ability. Derek and Addison have done an amazing job developing this young stallion and preserving his class-clown like love of work.

Sold- Alrighty Guys!! I will FINALLY admit it... I have tried but I just can't do it! New baby human, stallion in training, lessons, full time work, and ya know, life! I deluded myself through all of winter and found myself feeding a pasture puff and unfortunately letting this project beastie get out of work.

So here is the deal of a lifetime... for a TRAINER. Kricket is a 2017 15.2hh Oldenburg/ TB gelding. He is SPECTACULAR.... with quirks..... Lots of quirks. I am not exagerating about his movement... or his quirks. Hes not trying to get you off. He's not dangerous. Just a nervous when out of work. He is probably one of the BEST movers I have ever seen. His capabilities are off the charts. And I have been unfair to him by holding on to him when I can't give him the time he needs to thrive.

So here's the deal. I am cutting my price for him more than in HALF. He will be 5 figure horse EASY. But he will need an ADVANCED RIDER to get him going again. He has anxiety when he is restarted, if you rush him you will feel his heartbeat between your legs... never a fun feeling. When in regular work I have had intermediate riders on him and he is GOOD. His personality is that of a goofy class clown with an anxiety disorder. He will NEVER be beginner safe. Please don't expect a horse with this level of athleticism to be the horse to "grow with your advanced beginner kid". You start him SLOW and with more patience than you ever thought you possessed and he will thrive and excel for you. He's not a horse that does well with 2x a week. HE DEMANDS 8-12 days a week of consistency.

This guy's movement is something you just gotta see. We started him with a stretchy loose rein trot and when he went to the back burner he was starting work on the bit. His canter is something i could sit all day. If you are looking for something who can do all the dressage movements, take a look at this boy. Added bonus that he has a cute jump too.

He has a clear PPE I am happy to share. Please don't message asking to ride this guy tomorrow. He has not been sat on in months. If you want to come put a minimum of a weeks worth of ground work into this guy, you'd be welcome! and we can get him going again so you can ride him before buying. I DONT HAVE THE TIME. If I have to put the time into restarting him, I will, but his price will go back up. This is a DEAL for someone if they want to take the risk.

Sold - 17yo Haflinger Mare - Minnie Mouse

Minnie has been sitting for the past year because of the reduced size of my lesson program so it seems only fair to rehome her. She has done advanced beginner and intermediate lessons and is tolerant and sweet and loves the attention! She will need an advanced rider to get her back into regular work but is a rockstar when she's in regular work! She loves jumping and loved trail riding even more! Low 4s
