Today was hard!
We had to say Goodbye (for now) to Otis Henry! We are Grateful that we got to be with him, along with Barry & his "Sisters" Melanie & Rebecca via text & facetime!
We are especiallyThankful to Embrace Animal Hospital, Dr Dallas, Jenna, Cathy for today & Dr Dana Scozzafava, Danielle, Melanie & staff for their kindness & Love of Otis over the years.
We adopted Otis from ASPCA 7 years ago when he was 7!
He was a very shy guy, but he melted our hearts!
Otis was petrified of Thunderstorms & most people! He never got comfortable with Thunderstorms (we tried everything) But within a couple of years he grew his circle of friends & greeted them all with enthusiastic barks & tail wags! He was always a gentleman & stole our hearts with his quiet gentleness & occasional shenanigans! He Loved the Grandkids & especially walks with them! He LOVED camping, Sniffaris & pupcups at Aylas!
He Loved snuggling in his 8 different beds (some of which were not his;) on quiet nights at home.
Here we thought we were "rescuing" him, but in reality he gave us so much more! We are so Grateful for Otis's trust & Love & hope he is now with Pearl getting his ears licked!
We will miss you Otis Henry!

Today would have been our girl, Pearl's 16th Birthday!!!We miss her & her sweet & loving personality!! 💖
