🐴 Meet Zippity-Doo-Dah — or Zipper, as we call him!

Zipper is currently in training to become a Land Hippo under the expert supervision of our lead Land Hippo, Tähti. Here you can see him reclining in the arena, hard at work on his land hippo training while Tähti critiques from the background.

He has even closed his eyes in concentration. 😴

We are pretty sure Zipper is a horse, but we haven't completely ruled out a dog with strange feet. 😂 He has the ultimate puppy-dog personality and is very much a go-with-the-flow kind of guy.

Zipper is generously leased to Stillwater for use in our lesson program! He's already started in-hand lessons and will be progressing to under-saddle lessons soon. We can't wait to see what this sweet guy gets up to!

So, what is Stillwater about? Honestly, it’s hard to put into just a few words.

Stillwater is more than a place to ride horses. It’s a place to slow down, breathe deeper, make a new friend, find some confidence, and maybe discover a part of yourself you didn’t even realize was there or had forgotten about.

We believe there’s something pretty special about horses. They have a way of meeting you exactly where you are. Then you add time in nature, good people, a place where you can show up exactly as who you are, and something really beautiful can happen.

Sometimes it’s healing. Sometimes it’s connection. Sometimes it’s simply a really good day at the barn.

That’s what we’re building at Stillwater. We're building a place where people can come as they are, connect with horses and nature, find community, and discover who they are along the way.

The horses are part of the magic, and the people are the heart of it. 💙

We had SO much fun celebrating with a pony party this weekend! 🐴🎉💗 Lots of smiles, sweet ponies, and fun memories made. Thank you for letting us be part of your celebration! ✨

What a day we had! 🐾🌿

Yesterday’s Once Upon a Wild had curious explorers! From discovering friends in the grass, getting hands-on with our animal friends at Indana WILD, enjoying a snack, and spending time outside together—it was the perfect summer adventure. 🦔 🐍🦨

It was so much fun watching the detectives get curious, ask questions, and discover the wild world around them.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! We can’t wait for the next Once Upon a Wild adventure next month! 🌿✨
