Fox Wood Farm had a fantastic first horse show of the season on Saturday! It was a busy day but such a fun and rewarding one!
Julianna Kelly and Sugarbrook Lullaby moved up to the Pre-Childrens Hunter division earning a 1st & 3rd over fences with a 2nd undersaddle out of 5 competitors. Julianna is bringing along her own green pony and has improved so much with Lulu this year. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication. It is so exciting to see it pay off.
Abigail Pellicano and Resilience moved up to the Pre-Children’s Equation division. They earned a respectable 3rd on the flat and a 4th place over fences out of 10 competitors. It’s hard to believe this past fall Abigail was competing in the Walk Trot division. She has grown so much as a rider within the last few months. We are so proud of her for working hard & challenging herself. We can’t wait to help you progress even more this season!
Lillie Tedesco and Resilience had their first horse show together earning Reserve Champion in the Short Stirrup division. Moving up from a pony to a horse can be challenging but we are so proud of Lillie for trying something new. We are looking forward to helping them progress this show season as a new team.
Clare Burke and Misty Blue had their horse show debut together in the Mini Stirrup division. Good old Misty took such great care of Clare at her first ever horse show even helping her earn her first Blue ribbon in the ground poles class. They also earned a 2nd, 4th & 5th just missing reserve champion. We are so excited for this adorable little team to continue showing together this season.
Lucy Adams and Don’t Tell Daddy competed in the Beginner Rider division together for the first time. They earned a 4th & two 5th places. This was Lucy’s first horse show! We are so proud of her hard work at her lessons to now be able to be ready to horse show. We are so excited to have Lucy showing with us this year and can’t wait to help her improve even more.
We are looking forward to a fun horse show season & can’t thank Pembrook Farm enough for hosting an amazing first horse show of the season. We can’t wait to be back at the end of this month.
