As a preventive measure to protect our community, we are temporarily closing Camden County Animal Control due to a positive case of Parvo (canine parvovirus). We are taking necessary steps to ensure the safety and health of all animals in our care.

Meet Jessi Griffin. Last week she graduated from the College of Coastal Georgia with a degree in Biological Sciences, and we could not be more proud. Even more exciting, Jessi has accepted our full time Animal Control Officer position, and this week she is transitioning from her previous role as a Kennel Technician.

Jessi’s dedication, compassion, and kindness make her an incredible asset to our team and to the animals she cares for every day. We are so grateful to have her and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes.

When asked what she loves most about working with Camden County Animal Control, Jessi said, “I love spending time with the dogs and seeing them be adopted out. I also love working with my coworkers because they are kind, help me to learn more every day, and we are like a small family.”

Help us congratulate Jessi on this huge milestone and welcome her into her new role. We are so proud of you Jessi! 🐾
