Heather decided to do a head down pose to show off not only the nice tines on her buck, but to also show the porcupine quills that were in his forehead when she shot it!! We took lots of pictures, pulled every quill and stored them until the cape came back from the tannery. Then we put them back in the forehead one at a time until it was just perfect. Talk about a cool conversation piece!

Randy stopped by to pick up his bear pack mount. I love that addition of the red wool blanket carried on the bottom. He has some old family heirloom items to add to it to make it his own and then its done! That's probably my favorite part about the pack mounts. Is how you can personalize them. They are really growing on me. What do you think?

Congratulations to Brian Gustin on his Red Oak black bear. Brian waited over 10 years to get his tag and decided to use Ormsbee's Guiding to get this beautiful black bear! I was lucky enough to be with him when he got it. An experience I'll never forget! Hope the mount brings back many great memories for you every time you look at it buddy!!! I know its a day I'll always remember!
