Slick, also known as Rays of Playgun, is a four-year-old blue roan gelding with an exceptional foundation and a bright future ahead of him. He has had a real job from day one and has been used extensively on the head side, giving him a strong start and plenty of opportunity for continued growth in the heading.

In the arena, Slick scores sharp and quiet, runs hard to the cow, and goes to work every time he leaves the box. He understands his job and does it willingly, making him a serious prospect for someone looking to take a young horse and go win on him. With his ability and mindset, he is ready to be taken to the next level.

Slick is extremely gentle in your hand, meets you at the gate, and genuinely enjoys attention. He is very broke with a calm, quiet demeanor, making him suitable for riders of varying experience levels and ages. He is the kind that makes a rider feel confident and comfortable every ride.

Outside the arena, Slick has proven himself as a dependable and seasoned mountain horse. He has been used as the number one guide horse in elk camp and confidently crosses water, bogs, logs, rivers, lakes—anything you point him at. He can be hobbled, picketed, or turned loose in the mountains, and he will stay put.
