AFTER: The finished product. Hundreds of loads of fill were transported to the site to elevate the parking lot, followed by the application of 6 inches of topsoil before the entire property was seeded with grass. Fifteen trees were planted, and a beautiful fence was installed. Hundreds of hours were invested in this project, with contractors often working from dawn till dusk.

Who remembers the old dump site and the property's condition before this project began? 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️ The provided photographs, taken in May 2024, demonstrate that while the weeds were relatively manageable at that stage, the property needed brush hogging when the project started due to the exceptionally thick and tall weeds and the property was logged off.

Spring should be just around the corner and work on the dog park will resume once things warm up more and things continue to thaw.

This week we received a $500 donation towards the park! We thank those who have already donated.

“The Giving” Craft/Vendor Show this past Saturday was a hit! Thank you to the vendors/crafters, those who baked goods, basket donators, and all of the volunteers and anyone else who made this great event possible! This event raised $2002 for the dog park!

I had the pleasure of working the golf outing, helping raise money for the dog park last weekend. The weather was amazing, the people were great and everyone had a great time.

A huge thank you to Potrykus Construction for the generous donation of $3582 in memory of Jamie Steliga.
