Kelly and Brady, our standard F1B Whoodle pups, are two weeks old! Their eyes are open and they are starting to toddle around and awkwardly explore. They are CHONKY with only the two of them sharing the entire milk bar!

It looks like Daisy Duke may have found her family!

Uncle Jesse remains, and he is a wonderful puppy! He’s middle of the road for temperament, plenty of playful energy but also loves to be picked up and held. He runs up to me, then rolls over for a belly scratch. He’s sweet, confident, and loves people!

This whole litter has been really lovely in temperament, and one of my quietest which I love! All this, and adorable to boot!!! 🐾🩷

My Dad, Pete, passed away on August 1st. He loved to spend time with my puppies, and I often called him to help me wrangle pups at the vet, and to hold them for me so I could microchip them. His funeral is this Thursday and tonight I was sad, so I took some extra time to go outside and play with my two remaining Dukes of Hazard puppies.

We went for a walk and I watched them run and wrestle and fight. They ranged out, then checked back in for belly scratches over and over again. Daisy stopped to piddle, and Jesse bolted over and tackled her! They were so funny and entertaining, and it felt really good to laugh!

Then I brought them into their kennel building and I sat with them there. Now I wouldn't have had Daisy Duke pegged as a therapy dog, as she is the smallest of the pack and had to have a little extra s***k to keep up! Tonight though, she obviously wanted me to pick her up so I did, and she calmly rested her head on my chest and snuggled into me for a long time. She gazed into my eyes and occasionally gave my chin a gentle lick. I really think she knew I needed some comfort!

I would love for these puppies to find their forever homes, but maybe the Lord knew that I needed them for a little extra time this week! ❤️

Sunny is here waiting to have her puppies. She was bred with Jax, so these will be larger sized, around 35-40 lbs or so at maturity. Puppies are due today, but it looks like Sunny is going to make us wait. Keep watching for updates!
