’Twas the night before Opening Day, and all through the park,
The deer were waiting quietly, even past dark.
The feed bins were filled and the paths set with care,
Ready for families who soon will be there.

Tomorrow the gates open for our 74th season! We are excited to welcome everyone back to Wisconsin Deer Park for another year of memories!

Did you know elk antlers can grow up to an inch a day?

That fuzzy covering on their antlers is called velvet, and it helps the antlers grow strong and healthy.

Our bull elk at the Wisconsin Deer Park is growing some impressive velvet-covered antlers right now — and he loves showing them off!
