Hey guys!

Even though it doesnโ€™t feel like it, summer is here! ๐Ÿ˜Ž And as we know, that brings along with it lots of traffic on route 1 in Wiscasset! ๐Ÿš— ๐Ÿš™๐Ÿšš
There is also pole work going on along route 1 which is causing delays..โš ๏ธ๐Ÿšง๏ฟผ
So I ask that you please try to plan accordingly for this as much as possible and arrive to your appointments as on time as possible. โฐ
I run a fairly tight schedule and unfortunately if you arrive 15 minutes or more late, I may not be able to take you that day for your scheduled appointment.. situations like that and no-show appointments will be charged a $25 fee per dog for the first time and any no show appointments after that will be subject to paying the full service price in full before I can reschedule another appointment for you/keep already scheduled appointments.
I hate to have to crack down on this policy, but appointments are in high demand, especially this time of year, and when you donโ€™t come to an appointment without giving me any notice to refill it, itโ€™s not only money out of my pocket but takes that appointment away from somebody else that is waiting. ๐Ÿฉ ๐Ÿ’ˆ๐Ÿ›โœ‚๏ธ

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to give you all an update about my return to work!
I did work last week with some help from my wonderful husband, but I faced a set back and needed another more minor surgery today. ๐Ÿค•
That means I may have to cancel/reschedule my appointments scheduled for this week. ๐Ÿ˜ž

We are a full service Dog Grooming Salon conveniently located at 83 Birch Point Road in beautiful Wiscasset, Maine. We are a brand new Dog Grooming Salon owned and operated by Liz Clinton. We are a one Groomer operation which ensures your dog gets the one on one attention they deserve!

Birch Point Dog Spa is a brand new dog grooming salon built in 2020. I have the ability to groom dogs of all sizes with my electric grooming table that can be lowered right down to the floor for our senior/larger pups and a ramp/door on my tub for the same purpose. My blow dryer motors are located below my shop which allows me to dry dogs with much less noise which is much less stressful for them! I also have cage dryers that provide a gentle air flow to allow the dog to dry inside the kennel if need be. My shop is designed with the dogs comfort in mind and I pride myself in providing a relaxing, stress-free environment for your dog.

A little about me..

My name is Liz Clinton and I was born and raised in Bath, Maine. I am a 2006 graduate of Morse High School and I graduated from A+ Pet Grooming Academy in 2011. I worked as a dog groomer for 4 years locally before taking a break and going to school to be a dental assistant, which I've been employed as for the last 5 years. Grooming has always been my passion and my dream was to own my own salon one day. As things worked out I am now in a position where I am able to have my own grooming salon and work from home! I am so excited for this next chapter in my life and to get back to what I truly love...dogs! Thereโ€™s nothing I like better than being around animals.
