Delivery is imminent for our sweet girl. It's been a long couple of days and sleepless nights. First time moms make me a bit on edge and I want to make sure I am here when she needs me the most. We are ready Harley ❤️

We have been off the grid the last few weeks putting final touches on the whelping room and wash/feed room. This building has been a lot of years in the making and we are grateful to everyone who has been a part of it. Harley is due next weekend so we are officially on puppy watch. ❤️

Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing mamas out there! The perfect day to announce our news is confirmed. We are definitely expecting a Forest x Harley litter. Those little beans we posted a couple weeks ago on early ultrasound are growing nicely. Recheck last night showed several but i didnt get the greatest images, oh well. Due June 7th, we're already over halfway there. So much to do between now and then, from completing the new whelping room, finishing the wash room, getting whelping box and pens set up, ordering meds/supplies, the list goes on. It has been 2.5 years since our last litter but so many changes around here recently and a lot of loss. Its taken me a bit to pick up the pieces. If I've missed your messages please bear with me. Will try to get back with everyone over the upcoming days. Please reach out to us again if you have any questions. Hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day ❤️.

Last night we said our final goodbye to Aska. Our hearts are completely broken. I hope you are swimming in all the creeks, chasing all the squirrels, and playing with all the chuck it balls in heaven. Almost 13 years with you by our sides, it is empty without you here. You were a staple in our lives, the foundation of our program, and here through so many milestone memories. You can rest easy now sweet girl. Love you always. 💔

Debated posting so early but we need some happy news around here after a rough month. I scanned Harley today at 21 days from first pairing and we have gestational sacs/ early placental development ❤️. Sac dimensions are measuring 21+2 so we are about spot on. I will confirm again further along for better measurements and confirmation of fetal development. Early signs of pregnancy are tricky in dogs but Harley has been showing some tell tale signs. When she fell fast asleep during her coat blowout on Friday I was very suspicious. More to come later (hopefully 🙏).

Forest had an outside female pairing today we are pretty excited about. This family drove all the way from Indiana to Eastern NC. This was a full circle moment and pretty special to see this dog and owners again. I'll hold off further details until ultrasound confirmation. But fingers crossed for some beautiful all black, black/red, and patterned sable puppies in 9 weeks from now. Best of luck to her family and thank you for the good company today. ❤️

Harley on our walk this morning. This girl is so full of life and loves our adventures. We are anxiously awaiting her next cycle. Harley will be paired with Forest for our first full WGSL LC pairing, black/reds and all black pups expected. She is officially of age and has passed her health testing with flying colors 🎉. SV A normal hips and elbows, LUW 0, DM clear, MDR1 clear, full Embark panel clear, Cardiac normal, full dentition.

It's been over 2 years since we last had little fur balls running around here and I am beyond ready. Thank you to our wait listers that have patiently (or impatiently 😆) stuck it out. Will keep you all posted.
