Meet Rocky - This big guy is looking for his forever home. He is a lab mix with handsome brindle markings. He is 7 years old and weighs a little over 100 pounds. Don't let his age fool you, he is very active and loves to play. Rocky has been neutered, he is up to date on his vaccinations, tested negative for heartworms and 3 tick borne diseases, tested negative for intestinal parasites, current on his parasite preventatives and has been microchipped. Give us a call at 515-462-3200 during business hours to set up a time to meet this guy!

We have kittens!!!!
This clan is still adjusting to interacting with humans, so they are not up to visits yet. They are around 5 weeks old and will not be available to be placed into homes until they have been fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered. If you are interested in taking one of these adorable kittens home in a few weeks, you can stop by Cedar Creek Animal Clinic and fill out an adoption application.

This kitty was found hanging outside of a home in Winterset in April. The owner of the home noticed that she was in need of medical attention and brought her into the shelter. At that time she weighed a whopping 3.6 pounds. Her coat was thin and patchy and her whiskers were extremely short. She had older wounds on her side and neck that appeared like they could have came from a bird with sharp talons. That is where her name, Talon, came from. She was treated for internal and external parasites, tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated, microchipped and then spayed once she was healthy enough. She went to her Furever Home earlier this month!

Sneak got adopted last week. He came into the shelter looking a little rugged and tested positive for FIV. He got neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and microchipped. He put on some weight and tried to make some friends with our staff during his stay. His new home is in a barn where he gets to be the only cat on the farm.

Zilla was a former patient of ours who somehow ended up with the West Des Moines Animal Control. Her microchip led them to us and both of us tried to contact the owner listed on the microchip information and were unsuccessful. This super friendly fluffball is looking for her forever home and welcomes anyone who would like to come and visit her!
